Enfin le soleil est là depuis à Amiens ( Picardie , France ) depuis Samedi dernier . Cet après - midi j ' ai arraché des pommes de terre " Belles de Fontenay " excellentes pour les rôtis avec , naturellement , du vin " Pinot noir " d ' alsace . Récolte peu abondante . La qualité mais non la quantité . J ' ai été aidé par Sarah ma petite - fille âgée de trois ans née à Folkestone en Angleterre . Vous pouvez imaginer ce que cela a pu être ! Puis je suis monté sur une échelle pour cueillir des prunes . Sarah les mettait dans son petiit panier . Charmes du potager ........ps : Les gens me disent que Sarah est un petit ange blond . Cela doit être vrai . Elle aura ses 3 ans demain Dimanche 12 Août .

I lifted up potatoes " Belles de Fontenay " - in English : Beauties of Fontenay - excellent for roasts with naturally wine " Pinot noir " from Alsace . No much productive crop . Quality but not quantity . I was helped by Sarah , my three -year- old grand - daughter , born in Folkestone in England . You can imagine what it was ! Then I climbed a ladder to pick up plums . Sarah put them into her small basket . Charms of vegetable garden ........ps : people tell me Sarah is a small blond angel . It should be true . Her birthday is tomorrow on Sunday , the 12th of August .
