The photos don't show for me! I think the problem is Xanga and not this site. I will check back tomorrow and hopefully see them. I know we enjoy our grandchildren. Our grandson looks like my husband, which thrills my husband of course. Our grand daughter looks like my mother. I only wish my mom was here to see her. It is such a privilege to have grandchildren!

Grand-père extroidenaire!!! It is an art and you have become one of the masters at this!! I love seeing the pics of your little sweeties Michel. They grow so quickly, it seems our little grandchildren spring up right in front of our eyes before we know what happened.
I was on MSN Messenger with my second daughter, Candi, yesterday and she said her littlest one, Tyler, has grown so much... he is 6 months now!! It is difficult to believe!!! I will take many photos while there in April so all my Xanga friends can see them.

That reminds me, when I was little my Papaw was pushing me in a wheelbarrow. We were going pretty fast and I was having a lot of fun, but he didn't see the small tree in the yard. When we hit it, the wheelbarrow flipped upside down on top of me and he fell/jumped over it! I think he may have broken his glasses and got a scratch on his head. I wasn't hurt. We still talk about that sometimes .
I can see the pictures now and they are wonderful!
The secret words in my blog are the ones in red. The person running the contest pics them and then the participants in the contest have to use those words in a blog.
I love it! You know, I have the wheel barrow my dad used to wheel my sister and me around in?! He gave it to me a few years back. Those pictures remind me so much of being a kid myself! Oh, and I love your hat!
what a wonderful resource you are in your grandchildrens lives. To love life and love them, they will have many fond memories with you it appears..
I can't wait to be a grandma~!
You look, and most likely are, the coolest Grand-Papa going!

Those are great pictures, Michel, and a great thought! Joe has very funny facial expressions...what wonderful grandchildren! But no wonder, with such a wonderful grandfather. I never met either of my grandfathers, but I would like to think that they would be like you.
Your backyard (I am assuming that is what the background of the picture is) reminds me of one of my childhood backyards, when I lived in Germany!
You have lovely grandchildren! your granddaughter- Manon's name reminds me of the movie Manon of the Spring. I love that film and it's pre-quel Jean de Florette.
I am sure it must have got quite heavy at the end of the ride! You have a very large garden and I look forward to seeing photographs of all your vegetables and flowers later in the year. Best regards, Tom
Un, deux, trois! These three grandkids of yours look adorable. It seems like you had a fun time with their visit. They must be so spoiled by your love! By the way, are you always so well-dressed ? I have this feeling that Frenchmen are always very well dressed, LOL!
Beautiful! It's lovely there...and the babies are beyond adorable (and you are included within that statement). -Kate

What wonderful pictures of you and your grandchildren, looks like fun for them!! =)
What wonderful, special pictures. Love and hugs. zera
What a proud grandfather and such adorable grandchildren! Well done!
Your grandchildren look so happy to spend the day with grandpa. My children remember their grandpa very well. He had 32 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and he had time for all of them. It was a sad day when we lost him but the kids had fun with him. I hope my grandchildren will have good memories too. Take care and May God Bless You and Yours.
Lovely little Grandchildren, I loved mine when they were thjose ages, Now mine have grown and the Greats are the ages of your Grands. All my children married young so I was a grandmother for the 1st time at 40. I liked the name Manon Joe and Sarah sounded som English. I saw in a comment to me you have a daughter in Folkestone ,was that because she married an Englishman or does she work there, I am so inquisitive aren't I. I find Xanga has gone very quiet as far as my site is concerned because I will air my views, still thats me and I am too old to change. Thank you for your constant visits. Love Marjie I forgot to say I liked the man in the hat, funny that ,because I have never let my husband wear one as he looked funny, except for a sun hat out here of course. My Father nearly always wore a black Homberg.
I would say that is true. You are a very wise man, Michel. And most distinguished looking, I must say - a true gentleman!
Ah Michel you have grown a fine crop of grandchildren!! Hugs old friend.
Bonjour, monsieur!
Nice Xanga
Why is it that people who live completely different lives from me think mine must be an invention, a novel? I don't care whether anyone believes me or not, but I don't like attacks, such as SuperGlueLogic's (which I pasted on to my present post so the world could see the creep).
You live your life and I'll live mine and we will each blog as we wish. But I don't put you down, why do it to me?
I've just reread my comment and it looks like you flamed me and then I got back at you. And you didn't! I know you didn't you included a KISS
I guess what I meant to say was, I like reading your blog, you have a wonderful family life and your pics are always so great and I accept it on the level you offer it. And that is how I want to be accepted. It doesn't matter if people think my life is true or not, but it sometimes feels weird that people feel the need to comment on whether or not they believe in it.
I hope I explained that better.
Friends? I hope so
oh to be young again...
I couldn't push my grandchildren anywhere - all but two are MUCH bigger than me Still the greats are only little yet. The grands still talk about their grandad and the things they did with him --watching sport mostly !!!! Even Thomas and Alice chat about their Grandy - what wonderful memories they will have of us and it's nice to know that we will never be forgotten. Marie
((((Michel)))) What wonderful pictures. I, Too am a grandmother... Isn't it grand? Can spoil the heck out of those kids and then send them home to their parents. *Sigh* Ahhhhhh... Life is good.
Oh how addorable!!!!!!!!! I don't think there has ever been a cuter grandfather/grandchildren photo. WHat lovely precious cargo you have there!
Take care! *hugs*
That wheelbarrow is clear evidence of the miracle of Spontaneous Generation!
~rereads the sentence, knows it's off, but can't figure out why or where!~
those pictures are so cute, I am so happy that you have shared them with us, thank yoy. Have a wonderful day today.

(((Hugs))) Michel I just LOVE this photo! I'm sitting here with a big on my face! I can just about feel the love you feel for your grandchildren radiating from this photo
I have to tell you Michel....my husband and I have found a new, very interesting looking French restaurant. It's called "Chez Rene" I think....hope my spelling is correct . When Glenn and I were first going out together, we used to regularly go to a beautiful French restaurant in Manly, by the name of "Le Pichet", run by a husband and wife team. They served the most delicious food .
Awww how precious!!!
Amour Hollie
What an absolute Darlin' you are. My dad was much like you when he was able to be up and about. My children loved their grandpa dearly. Indeed it is an art.
haha. so cute. i wish i had a grandfather like you. you are such a sweet sweet man
I took my Scooby for a wheelbarrow ride too.
vous etes beau

Spring comes! The cycle of seasons are in some ways similar to your own lives. Beautiful children and beautiful GrandFather!
wonderful pictures definitely an art form in themselves
Thank you for the compliment
I am having such a wonderful time over here in Europe! I will be in Paris for the first weekend in April and am looking forward to that very much, particularly as I get to see a friend I haven't seen in 2.5 years. I can't wait!
lovely!
Michel, we did have a garden as children, we grew vegetables, mostly. My cousin, Donna, was in charge of who grew what and of making sure we did our jobs in the garden. She was a harsh taskmaster, indeed! My grandfather (paternal, not the one in the blog) was a great gardener and we always enjoyed his produce in the summer. Wheelbarrow rides were mostly from my father or uncle. We loved them and Neil enjoys giving our children a ride now!
D'accord! Absoluement!!!!!!
I had to come back and check to see if you might have kept going, and piled all 12 of the grandchildren into that wheelbarrow. Who knows-maybe you could have made it into the Guiness Book of World Records.
I am just joking, but I was beginning to wonder how many were in there, while I was reading your blog.
What charming photographs! You are a very clever grandfather.
In friendship,
Carol
I'll bet you are an awesome Granfather. Since I never had the honor of knowing mine, perhaps I could be your honorary grandson?
Cheers to you, my friend!
DG
How much fun. What a wonderful grandfather you are. I can see the love in your eyes and the way your body holds the wheel barrow! Michel I salute you in your joy Love, Nancy
Wish I were in that wheel barrel..... your a Great Grandfather to them..... you are Art.....
and u are quite the artist!
what lovely pictures......
Somebody commented on my Xanga that you and I are both showing wheelbarrows on our sites today! Tom
those pics are so adorable.
I love you and your grandchildren's expressions. They are worth millions.
Those beautiful faces steal the show. Thank you for making me smile. I needed that so. This wicked war and I can barely breathe. You are a Darlink.
Love,
Brenda
Oh Michel... how wonderful!! Those faces... yours too!
Being a granddad is a delight!!!
Have a nice weekend!
I was going to write something in french, but i kinda lost my nerve... hehe, but yesh, being a grandfather is an art, I, unfortunately have only one who lives in New Zealand, but the memories we shared still make me smile. You look like a super grand-pere.
that is so adorable!! my parents should start taking notes from you - they are soon to be grandparents themselves (and i an aunt)!
You have a beautiful family. Congratulations. They are so lucky to have a grandpa like you. I can feel the love here.
Best wishes, Loriblue
The love you share is glowing in your faces in these pictures! What a wonderful family you have. God Bless!!
hi michel! wanted to wish ya a happy late birthday it was on the 12 hope you had a great time on that day, and those pictures with ur grandchildren are extremely lovely!
Hello Michel from Leanne daughter of Guypithecus. You have lovely grandchildren It looks like they enjoy their Grand - Pere very much!
I agree with the comment above - you don't look old enough to have three grandchildren! It must be something in the water over there??? They look so happy! You can tell they love their grandpa!
A very good friend of mine is in France right now! I am so jealous of her! I ordered her to take pictures of every castle/chateau she sees. She is in Paris and the surrounding area.
I hope to come to France soon. I want to see Dordogne. I have a huge poster of it on my wall. Have you ever been there?? It looks like such a beautiful place!
Have a very great day friend!
Omg =D, Just by looking at those pictures, I can tell that your a great man, one who loves his family. I haven't commented in a long time =) and your right, you truly are an artist...
so is being human Michel..but i'm sure you know that already...and i love art! *winkz*
very very cute!
I am so wishing I am a grand-pa right now!!!
je suis entièrement d'accord!
how's my french? did i say it right?
yes, michel. i'm well aware of the situation. i'm all cooped up at home. my mum won't allow me to leave the house. ;o) i'm being a good girl by staying in.
These pictures are so sweet!
How wonderful your pictures are, I missed seeing them while I was away.
thank you for your comment on mine Michel. Yes, Tony Blair is sincere but then so are all lunatics! The writer of the article was concerned about his obsessive beliefs about the threat from Saddam.
We are having lovely spring weather at the moment and I hope it is the same in France. I am beginning to tidy my garden but it will never equal yours!
Tom
Bonsoir, Michel. Tu me fais surpris que tu as écouté la chanson "Tomorrow Will be Better"! Excellent!
(Pardon mon francais !)
What wonderful pictures! They remind me of my father and my children together.
The bet was that..she (my sister) couldnt find anyone who would say that I am NOT (close enuff) to be a nun, and she cheated!! She asked someone who doesn't like moi!! *sniffles* SO, she got to write whatever she wanted to in my blog.. but, I got her back!
An art in which you are masterful, my friend. I believe I may safely say that I vicariously love your grandchildren.
And, in response to your comment, deviantART most likely refers to the common public opinion of the calibur of people on the site; the Deviants of the world, sharing their art. Thank you for your compliment on my poem; it means a great deal coming from such an eloquent man.
I like photos! You take different photos than I do - your life is different than mine. That's what I like - it's really interesting!
P.S. Congratulations on turning 70!
And you make beautiful art.
Such beautiful grandchildren! They're adorable!
*emma
I agree with the art part!! Coming up with new games and fun is never-ending!!
In your pictures, I see you have picked up little garden gnomes one at a time!! Darling kids...thanks for sharing your pictures.
Merci beaucoup, Michel!

I couldn't push my grandchildren anywhere - all but two are MUCH bigger than me
Still the greats are only little yet.

(((Hugs))) Michel
I just LOVE this photo! I'm sitting here with a big
on my face! I can just about feel the love you feel for your grandchildren radiating from this photo
I have to tell you Michel....my husband and I have found a new, very interesting looking French restaurant. It's called "Chez Rene" I think....hope my spelling is correct
. When Glenn and I were first going out together, we used to regularly go to a beautiful French restaurant in Manly, by the name of "Le Pichet", run by a husband and wife team. They served the most delicious food
.
Awww how precious!!!

What an absolute Darlin' you are. My dad was much like you when he was able to be up and about. My children loved their grandpa dearly. Indeed it is an art.

haha. so cute. i wish i had a grandfather like you. you are such a sweet sweet man
I took my Scooby for a wheelbarrow ride too.
vous etes beau
joe is soo adorable! they all look like a bundle of joy! it's fun to be in a wheelbarrow! if only i could fit in.. hehe..

Michel I salute you in your joy
Love, Nancy
Wish I were in that wheel barrel..... your a Great Grandfather to them..... you are Art.....
and u are quite the artist!

Best wishes,
Loriblue
Excellent!
!!!). Bon dimanche soirée! (Pardon mon francais
!)
What wonderful pictures! They remind me of my father and my children together.
The bet was that..she (my sister) couldnt find anyone who would say that I am NOT (close enuff) to be a nun, and she cheated!! She asked someone who doesn't like moi!! *sniffles* SO, she got to write whatever she wanted to in my blog.. but,
I got her back!
Merci beaucoup, Michel!
. Oui, la simplicité est jolie. Amitié à toi
