English wine .
The day before yesterday I drank English wine 1998 . You think : he jokes . NO ! I drank English wine . It is in existence . Say it around ! Go to Elham valley nearby Barham in Kent and we will find a vineyard and a vinegrower . They product a light medium dry white wine . Not bad at all . Well better than the of Chele _D ' pickles ( see sites I read ) . Yesterday 15 August after the mass of the Feast of the Assumption it was a big familial meal in the shaddow of the huge sycamore - see the description of my garden before . The one of our daughters , Isabelle turned 30 year old . . Wines of Alsace , Bordeaux flowed . We ate from 2 h p.m. to 5 h pm then supper from 7 pm to 10 pm like the Gauls . I don' t relate what we ate . I don' want to make you envious ! But I always thought of this little English wine of Kent . Hic ! Hic! Hurray ! Rule Britannia ! Long live the Queen ! hmmm ! It's time I recall to himself I am a Frenchman ! ps : The choir I manage well sang the Magnificat in 4 voices at the mass .
Vin anglais .
Avant - hier je bus du vin anglais . Vous pensez : il plaisante ! NON ! Je bus du vin anglais . Cela existe .

Oh, my! How impressive!
I'm going to have to visit here more often. Maybe I'll pick up a little France` via osmosis! *crosses fingers* I've always been fascinated with the beauty of the language. Took one year in high school before our only French teacher had a baby and retired. I was too upset to switch to Spanish, like everyone else did. Perhaps I should have, considering how many people speak it here... oh, well.
You'd asked me how I found you:
I caught mention of your hen on Celeste's site and wanted to catch the story. I was in amazement that someone else in the world had a pet hen. Had to come take a look- see!
As she mentioned that everyone else here was dragging her down, she was dragging ME down. I just try to stick to sites that make me happy- and your love for your critters makes me happy, so here I am.
I'll stop by for a visit again soon. I welcome you back to visit my crazy life, also. Thank you.
Later...barbie
I can't be prejudist in either way, as I have both English and French in my ancestry. I am proud of all the different ethnic groups that got together to produce the me that I am. I'm like a bowl of stew. A little bit of everything thrown in. what do you call a dish like that in France?
Best wishes for Isabelle. Seems that you had a nice day together. English wine is a surprise to me, however I know that in the province Limburg (NL) also are a few vineyards, producing white wine.
I had no idea there was English wine. I will have to look for some!
Cheers!
Bonjour,

Si j'ai bien compris le vins d'alsace en de bordeaux coulaint abondemment,et le vin anglais un peux moins,j'en suis sure. Je plaisante, of course.
Tanti Auguri pour Isabelle.
You will hate me for this, but to me all wine is the same. I like the cheap stuff from the supermarket - it all tastes the same to me
Ive only just begun to taste and enjoy wine. Why? Up until this point I enjoyed harder things, rum, vodka etc..etc. Now being a diabetic I can only drink red wine and Im allowed one or two glasses a day. Last week I tryed marlot......YUM. Its a good thing I can only have 2 glasses. LOL.
