Bathed by the light, fruit trees
    sparkle in their full bloom.

and this set of blue and white light,
    Their sparkling gold, shrubs bring.

    The twins also are blooming
    Les jumeux fleurissent aussi

UP Date du 15 th of April 2014

    Photo Janine Fauquet April 4112014

the twins now are 19 month old . All in all they  have a good behavior and are little gems .
Look at them playing sat at a table ( almost for Yris). Are not they two angels ? The boy Raphaël is on the left and the girl Yris on the right

    Quel plaisir! Quelle excitation!

2014 Avril 11Yris jouant ave manon

    2014 Avril 11 Quel plasir!

Photos Janine Fauquet 11 Avril 2014

But when their sister Manon ( 14 year old next july) comes back from school Yris jumps of joy upon Manon and both are rolling on the ground like two fighters. What a pleasure ! what an excitation!

    Raphaël, the boy is calmer and looks like he is listening her grand sister wahile he looks at Janine taking the photo, his blue eyes large open. Escatic! He is very calm but sometimes he is able to make the dynamic Yris  respect him in keeping his placidiy;

Are not those two flowers the most precious ?

  • Your garden and you fruit trees are beautiful!!But Michel, your poem is delicious - as much as the fruit anticipated from those many blossoms!!!

  • I told my hubby that they call their yards garden over there. He said he knows that

I like photos with a gate in them.

  • I just love our garden, Michel ~ so charming ~

  • Mornin Glorie....this was beautiful, a true breath of fresh spring air! I love the Kerria Japonica, I've been looking for something new to plant on Earth Day and this may be just perfect! Thanks for your prayers for our great grandson Braylon, he was able to go home from the hospital yesterday =) ilym

  • Beautiful! I love spring and summer and warmer weather! God bless you today, my friend.

  • Oh how beautiful Michel. You have your own bit of paradise.

  • TY so very much of your kind comments on my photo post of the 1941 Willies classic car.

  • So very beautiful my friend.....

Reminds me yet again of the garden, that set's in the middle of town in Portland Oregon, or it did at one time....Actually maybe I should call it an Orchard.

Fruit tree's of apple's,pears, peaches, with nuts in the center, walnuts, and acorns....And along the fence surrounding it there were raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, and there was even rhubarb!! A Dad with his 5 kids would go raid that garden often, for the fruits and nuts....I was one of those 5 kids....

  • Your garden full of blossoming trees is so gorgeous, Michel!
When I read, "The old cherry tree in bloom , the king of the garden. A lane bordered of fruits trees in bloom leads us to him." ... I believe the "him" refers to the king of the garden, but it made me think that such awesome beauty leads us to worship the Creator of it all!
Your poem, too is an anthem of joy, rejoicing in Spring!
    Love,
    Carolyn

  • I love your beautiful, blossoming world. Things are not blooming here this year... or are much slower than usual. It is very odd.

  • That is so beautiful, Michel. Thanks. It is breathtaking. I am excited by my three rose plants that are finally budding. I am partial to the yellow roses.

    blessings

    frank

  • Thank you my friend for sharing your photos with us.

  • Oh! I love your Spring, Michel!
    Each blossom is so unique!
    And I love your poem!

    I've been praying for you!
    HUGS,
    :-)

  • I love that spring has graced your garden Michel.

  • Oh wow, those cherry trees are so beautiful!

    - Marica

  • So that's what flowering trees look like in countries where there's ample rain. Lovely! My orange tree is blossoming but nothing like your trees. The volunteer squash plants have blossoms already too. Looks like an early summer here.

  • Now that is a yard I would like to stroll in! Do you harvest that much fruit?

  • Spring here is a few weeks behind yours there! Blessings in this beautiful time of year

  • Michel, another xangan, Righteous Bruin, is going to be traveling to Amiens in May... he didn't know if you were familiar with him so I thought maybe you two could get aquainted http://righteousbruin.xanga.com/...

  • Beautiful flower garden. It shows a lot of loving care.

  • Oh, what a beautiful colorful yard you have. Our blooms are slow. Not all tulips will bloom this year and the daffys were pitiful. :( Last 5 days, the temp was ok, but we're getting cold winds from the snow-covered Cascade Mtns. So today, April 11 I stayed in the house. We did drive to the Bavarian town of Leavenworth WA ( 22 miles from my house) and I enjoyed a German dinner for my 70th birthday. Just can't believe I'm that age. But time marches forward and so must I :D Do hope all is well with you and Janeen and that you enjoy your lovely garden immensely. In 2 weeks go to doc for the yearly cancer check up. No reason to believe that everything will be A1 OK. You two have a wonderful weekend. I look forward to your posts, just takes me a little longer to find them. Love Marilyn 'thistlepatch'

    • Happy birthday, Marilyn.
Janine got her yearly clinical exam and mammography yesterday. All is OK !

  • ryc: Janine works hard when fruit appears.

I asked you about the roosters on steeples but found this link.

Hope all is well with you, your lovely wife and family.

  • Wow, so much color and all those flowers! So lovely!

And your grandchildren look healthy and wonderful!

  • Just lovely Michele... the twins... the way they love their sister. How unusual for the boy to be the quiet one. :-) What joy. They are the most precious.
I love that Winnie the Pooh table too. Would love to get one for my daughter if she ever has a child. She was a big lover of Winnie the Pooh. :-)
Thanks for sharing your joys. :-D

  • Oops, sorry... somehow an 'e' jumped on the end of your name when I typed it. Hope that doesn't make it feminine. lol

  • spring is wonderful and so are the kids.
My little Reid is 18 months old and his brother is 4yrs old.

  • I think Raphael looks a little like you? Love the way they wake up to Manon. It is such a joy to see grand children bloom and grow and spread their young love around. Michel, these pictures are very precious.

  • Raphael and Yris are beautiful and precious!
I was a younger kid and loved when my older siblings would take time to read to me or play! :-)
You are blessed with such sweet babies in your life!
How are you feeling these days?
I keep praying for you and your health!
    HUGS!!! :-)

  • they are just beautiful little dolls! :)

  • They are growing so quickly!! It is wonderful that they are developing such different personalities - This was a smile inducing post and photos of the twins!!

  • The flowering trees are beautiful, and the twins are, as you said, most precious!

  • ah, the great life!

  • I think all three are precious...you can tell they love Manon and she loves them. Now did I detect that Raphael might have been eating the crayons? :) Have a wonderful Easter Michel...ilym

Ty for your good wishes and comments on my posts about hubby having a stroke and being in the hospital.

  • Such a beautiful family. You are blessed indeed.

    http://mizbee.net/Patchwork/April/17April_2014.htm

I can't believe the twins are so big now!

  • Michael, we are just beginning to see some flowers blossom but the trees have a way to go before they blossom. Your grandchildren are so adorable. Can hardly believe the twins are so big all ready. Hope you have a Blessed Easter. Love, Barbara

  • some chimes sound better then others and some are noisey.

would this church I posted be new? It was buildt in 18 something.

  • TY so very much of your comments and you have an happy easter also.

  • the twins are so precious. you are truly blessed with you such a lovely family.

  • Michel, would you please pray for our family? Much illness. We need hope and strength. Thank you so much. Your pictures are gorgeous.

  • Ty so very much of your support and prayers for TD.

Yes I understand I need a time of relaxation also. Hard to get to that point right now but am trying to take a brake every day.

  • Hello, Michel! How are things over there in olde Francais? Your trees are beautiful, but you will be up on your ladder in the fall, picking those cherries! The twins are still adorable.
I haven't been blogging much, lately. Even WordPress seems a bit boring, even though there are a lot of Xangans around. I think I will post today because I have some pictures of our trip to Baton Rouge, LA.

  • This year we have had an early and warm spring and your garden shows it.Magnificent.
The reportage of the twins is also like aspring painting, full of joy and hope

    Thanks for coming by.

    Amitie

    Carlo

  • You are about the same age as Frank in Ca.?
i'm not sure where the chocolate came into the picture either but I've always heard of eggs, too.

  • You always have the best pictures! I just want to squeeze those babies! They are so sweet! :)

  • Ty so very much for your comment on my post about the late blooming crocus.

  • Cannot believe how quickly the twins have grown , lovely photos of them playing

  • Ps I love seeing your garden in full bloom , its been quiet a nice spring not so much rain which is always good

  • you and Frank in California are the same age then.
Mom meet my dad during the war. She has a little brother Rick who wore my dad's uniform for a photo and it was way too big for him since he was so much younger then mom. I think of you and Frank as being the same. LOL

  • so lovely, michel! it is only just warming up here in canada and i'm so ready for some green!!~ but yes, the sweetest blooms are those darling grandbabies!!

hope you all had a blessed easter.

  • I will one day die a happy woman if I am allowed to get to Amiens one day and meet Michel and Janine. Alas, I must sell the house on Rivermont to do so. So much going on and I am needed to make decisions!
The garden is like heaven and the twins so adorable, especially with their older sister! You are a blessed man! kisses....

  • The twins have grown much, and are precious! It is fun to see how their personalities balance each other! I was also surprised how much Manon has grown... she is a very lovely young lady, Michel!
Also I enjoyed those beautiful trees of yours again!
    Love,
    Carolyn

  • The children are very sweet, and I love the colours of the plants!

    Best wishes to you, Michel!

Adorables!

  • Michel, if you read these words but have no time to reply I understand, for many days the clock's hands run faster than I can keep up with.
Just so you know, you are in my thoughts this warm spring day. I was painting in my studio, a single daffodil, and with prayers in my heart dedicated several brush strokes to you and your loved ones, each small stroke as a prayer offered.
May God's love be with you, always.
