Jeux de garçons
Boys games
We had during the last spring break some grandchildren especially boys . Some trees , a bit of rope are sufficient for them to play . They made again a hut tree and made bows or other antic weapons as this " nutchakkhu " . I believe there is a stage of their development where the boys lovent expeience the primitive life . And it ' s probably true for the girls too .

Nicolas ( 9 years old ) made a "nutchakkhu" and Luis ( 10 years old ) made a bow Avril 05 M Fauquet

And again the hut in the yew tree Et encore la hutte dans l ' if . M . Fauquet 04
Et durant ce temps .......
And during this time .....
Clementine ( 2 years and half old ) is standing quietly on her grandmother lap playing with farm toy and tasting some sweets .( crackers or small cake, i think )

Janine and our last grandchildren( the 12 th ) : Clementine M Fauquet Avril 2005
The grandchildren and us have to be thanksful for those happy times .

I can remember when I was a child, making bows and arrows fashioning guns out of sticks, climbing trees, riding bikes, and playing hide and go seek in the dark. I was a tom boy, to say the least, and I was very girly too. Looks like this was a great time for you and the kids! have a glorious and wonderful day...
Jeux d'enfants.. I've been so busy I've missed so many of these pictures.. And my "rocket" has been sitting in the "silo" (storeroom) for too long..
I never really get the chance to play with toys like that when I was a child. And the children nowadays hardly get their eyes off the Television or Computer Monitor.. Those will be lost memories for now..
Lisexo
I remember when I use to do that and I'm a girl! But I was more of a tomboy back then, not so much now
Have a great day Michel!

P.S. Great pictures by the way.
I loved playing at my grandparents house when I was young - I have some wonderful memories of those times - I love the pictures

Aww! They are so cute! I can't wait until someday when I can have children of my own!

Bonjour, Michel!
Once again, I do love the blogs and updates with pictures. I find your family so delightful. You truly are a blessed man in many aspects. It is funny how the boys are happy with playing in trees and such, while the females prefer it inside and with a delicate toy.
12 grandchildren? How do you do it? They must make you remain youthful throughout your days.
You are a wonderful family man.
Have a great week! God bless.
the children are so cute
i especially love the last picture, feeling so warm!
anny
What adventures! Boys are boys...all over the world. These are such fun photos. And the one of Janine and Clementine? So adorable. Clementine resembles Janine don't you think?
funny how different boys and girls are. the boys are busy making weapons from trees and the girls are inside playing with toys and eating cake...life is so funny isn't it? well hope you have a great day

I have 10 grandchildren and 2 great granchildren. I lost a great grandchild last May. That is still very painful.Such a beautiful child he was but from our arms to Gods what a better place to be. You have been blessed as I have said to you before to live in such a nice place. Jesus loved you so to put you there. Thank you for this post and for the pictures Dorothy God Bless you and yours
Do remember to hand your lovely wife the camera from time to time so we can see you playing with the young ones! They are so beautiful. You must be so proud. Love and Light, Boston
Your grandchildren are all so adorable! My Grandma has 13 grandchildren and prides herself on this, she loves to show us off! I am the oldest of them all, so i am used to it! I love reading your entries, i'm so happy i found your blog!
Also, a 1.5 bath means that my apartment will include a full bathroom with sink, commode, and shower/bath, and also a half bath (.5) that does not include a shower/bath, just the sink and commode.
I hope that when I am your age I get to spend so much time with my beautiful grandchildren.
To make a hut tree is one of the nicesr dreams for a boy. They are lucky to have the place to make it. I bet they are having a lot of fun.....and grandfather too, i suppose you don't make weapons, but perhaps you would like to make a little wood gun.
Clementine looks very cute, and Jeanine looks very happy too.

Carlo
My boys used to play like that. So did Julie -she was a tomboy at heart
These days parents are too frightened to let their " babies " try anything that seems remotely adventurous but children need to express themselves in activities. I love having my greatgrandchildren here - I too am blessed.
Marie
looks like so much fun! i love the picture with the weapons they made from sticks. the boys look so serious and proud!
and by the way...the orpheum is an old theater chain here in the US. they are still used for the theater/plays and such but also as a concert hall. =)
How lovely!! I definitely want a big family. I'm glad you were able to spend such a nice time with yours over the Spring break.
EEK~! michel, those boys look a little dangerous~! lol
did you climb up the tree with them???
have a great day. I'm a 'kitty grandma' again. YaY.

Merveilleuse famille Fauquet !
Grosses bises d'Helvétie à tous

How precious are the times when grandchildren are around. I too am looking forward to the future when I can spend happy times with grandchildren! As for the creative toys...the numchakus comes from martial arts...bruce lee movies made them famous, I think. I once tried to imitate bruce lee movies using the numchakus and ended up with bruises to my arms!
you make us all appreciate those moments...
i love the the little tree boys and the precious treats girls!!! wonderful wondeful moments you bring to us! thank you!
They all look like they are having lots of fun. I can remember my brother making things like that with sticks and rope. Also tying the rope in a tree and swinging from it like Tarzan!
I want to play in the yew tree. I played in tree houses when I was a little girl. They called me a tomboy because I climbed better than the boys.
Making a bow and arrow set out of string and sticks brings back memories....as well as climbing trees and having tree forts. Ahh, to be a kid again.
I appreciate the trip down memory lane.
You're giving your grandchildren beautiful memories to grow up with.
This reminds me of when my mother used to tell me that if you buy a child an expensive toy, he will play with the box it came in instead. Perhaps the simplicity of ropes or boxes or trees are simple enough for a child to express his/her imagination fully.
By the way, your site helps me practice reading (and extending my vocabulary) in French. I took French lessons for a year but forgot a good part of it; I'm trying to teach myself again what I forgot.
Wonderful imaginative children!

The boys in the trees is a very lovely picture and Clementine is adorable
Beautiful pictures all of them!
You were asking. Click on a name.

Carys and Alayna
Your grandchildren are positively adorable, Michel. Have a wonderful week. (:
Children are such magical creatures....
K xo
Oh, such fun!!! I remember climbing trees and playing boy games and being told to be more like a lady. It was very hard. I liked the rough games and being out in the air more than playing in the house with quiet toys. I loved my dolls and puzzles, too.
Aren't grandchildren so much fun? I love having mine to play with. Three of the little ones were here at Easter.
Thanks for sharing those lovely pictures.
(((hugs))) and smiles ~char
Such beautiful children!
It is so wonderful to see children at that age playing outside and not inside playing video games....oh the wonders of a child's imagination!
I love when you have pictures and how you describe about your family...they are just beautiful and Miss Clementine looks like a little angel!
I know you enjoyed having your babies there with you...thank you for sharing with us your week!
Love and God's Blessings,
Cat
I would make bows and arrows like that from tree branches and pretend I was Robin Hood. We had forts and tree houses. You're right about that being something primitive coming out in a boys development. It must be something genetic and/or spiritual. I kind of miss that time of life now.
Such happy times! A tree house is so much fun for both boys and girls. Isn't it nice that the weather allows the children to play outside more.
Carol Suzanne
what a blessing you are!
I remember as a child making bows and arrows out of twigs and things we found around the house.
I so agree Michel, kids can make their own fun in so many ways without expensive toys. There is always something they can create with imagination. The important thing is to explore their imagination. The pictures of your grandchildren are really lovely!
-juli
Il y a une dirige en anglais: "boys will be boys." Est-ce que ca existe en francais?
the wonder of children. beautiful.
What charming children! You are blessed, Michel.
Boys love anything that to them proud strong men loved. It's every boy's dream to be proud and strong, to climb trees to fire arrows, much better too than a play station.
Any cake left?
Michel,
I know with my own girls we would study The Vikings and The Medieval Knights. They had a blast making their own shields! We ended up cutting and carving out their own swords. To this day we still have a "thing" for swords and knives. Something a little unusual for a family with all daughters. Thanks for sharing those pictures. Enjoy your day! - Rachel/Aslans_daughter
What a lovely photolog of the times with your grandchildren. It's nice to see boys play with toys that are natural and not manufactured. I rememer how much fun a plain cardbox box gave my brothers and me when we were young. It seems that now most kids can only entertain themselves with toys that are electronic or part of a whole movie franchise.
grandparents are truly the best. They spoil their grandkids with the best toys and lots of love
I'm glad my grandparents live close to me.
Yes be very thankful for those very special times!! Karolyn @-}-}-
The two boys up the tree reminds me of 'Lord of the Flies' and 'Tarzan'.
Lovely pics.
thats like fun... here we cant even find branches and we have seriously a lack of resources
When we are old and no longer able to move around with speed and agility and must remain seated or even in bed much of the time, these are the memories which will sustain us....to be sure!

Happy days for one and all Ron
Oh! Clementine is precious!
I have a question. If I was a millionaire who wanted to give away money to people, and I decided to give you money, would you take it? And if you decided to take it, how much money would you want?

Salut Michel!
Isabel
Hi Michel!
Thank you so much for your comment at my site!
Yes I'm Portuguese! Portugal was very different on 1966, under the dictator Salazar!
I don't see any problem on remember the mistakes of Church. The Church and God are not the same!
Church is a men institution... and men are capable of terrible things... as Holocaust... I'm sure you have not forgot.
If you wanted to defend this Pope, the Prefect (Inquisitor Generalis) of Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith for the last 24 years - the name for the actual Inquisition - maybe, as I see it, that's not the best way. The values of Christ message didn't need that horror.
We must never forget.
For the sake of children. For having a better future!
Thank you again, and I hope to see you again in my site!
Isabel
Great pictures of the children. Isn't it fun spending time with kids? The kids in my life are all bigger..... 15 to 18 year olds at school..... and my own kids are in their 20's..... but it's great spending time with them. I grew up with brothers and we were always climbing trees, making things out of sticks and rope and old tires, riding motorcycles and such. I was a bit of a tom-boy.... and loved every minute of it!
Blessings, kc
Whenever you have some happy time to spare put it in a little jar and save it for me when its a bad day.
Yes, Michel, that is so true. We must be happy for these times.

oops..my post cut off...
It is strange that boys at that age begin doing such primal things like building forts, making weapons, settling trees. I think it must be part of the genetic code of most boys because thousands of years ago, this is what they did and prepared for.
Lovely pictures,
Hugs,
Lisa
yes, those boys WILL be boys...and the girls, too... I was a tomboy when I was small... I think it had to do something with only having two brothers! Love your pictures!
Thank you so much for sharing!
I'm 19 and I STILL like making weapons out of random things found in the yard.
Keep it copasetic. Peace.
Beautiful family. I am always so impressed by children's innovations.
I remember for me my siblings and I could be entertained for hours--who knew?
-the rachael
Ah, belle enfance!
Is there much fishing over in your town? If so, what kind of fish? The kids sure look like they are having a lot of fun!!! Hope you are as well.
Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Livia
Hi Michel!
I'm so sorry that I can't respond in detail right now, but I just wanted to stop by now though while I had this chance to let you know I'm thinking of you......(((Hugs)))
P.S. Those are such beautiful pictures! Thanks so much for sharing them!
I am sure your Grandchildren Love visiting you .The ages of your grandchildren ,are nearer the ages of our Great ones, as the oldest grandchild is 35 and only one still at school my Son's daughter Jasmine is aged 12. I have more Greats than grandchildren, but we also had 12, would have been 13 but the first one died aged 3 days ,a boy Simonm he was born without a gullet and they operated on him mbut he was so small about three and a half pounds he did not survive, much sadness at the time, he would have been 36 now. I don't know what the thing the older boy made ,hadn't heard of that. Bows and arrows were all the thing in my childrens days . Love Marjie, sorry to be so long reaching you ,am at last getting back to how I was a few weeks ago, not good ,but not bad

The pictures made me smile. My boys also make bows and arrows. And last summer my younger son went to a "Trebuchet Physics" class and made a working trebuchet about 10 feet tall which is still in our back yard. Primitive, yes, but harmless fun.
Michel,
You brought back some good memories of my childhood with these photos.
In friendship,
Wren
Aaah!!! Memories!!! I really enjoy seeing the pictures of your beautiful grandchildren. It certainly reminds me of a fun time when I was growing up. It is good to see that some children still play with these things.
When I was a child, these were the things that we had to play with-homemade toys. I clearly remember shooting bows and arrows, toy guns, sling shots, making pipes from acorns. I was always overjoyed when we would meet an elderly next door neighbor, while playing in the woods. He would make us a homemade whistle. I cannot remember what type of tree he used to make them, but they really worked great.
So good that you get to enjoy those adorable grandchildren. Have a great weekend!!!
.
Dearest Michel,
In answer to your questions...
I have four children. Christopher, my oldest, just turned 20 year old and is in the Navy. He will be traveling through Europe and the Mediterranean here soon. He has told me to get ready to travel...he is sending me a ticket to come over there.
My next is Lillian and she is 13, then Sarah who is 10 and my youngest, David, and he is 8.
In our home schooling we cover all the subjects as they would in school and more. We decided to school our children at home because of the lack of not only morals in the school right now but in what they are teaching or I should say not teaching. It is sad but the way things are these days.
When we had Ophelie here, along with the other French students...I was amazed at what they were learning in school compared to our students here...I knew I needed to get on the ball with my children and their education. They were definitely an inspiration to me and was so very glad they were willing to share their lives with us even if it was only for a month. I do miss Ophelie so much and I hope that should I fly over to France this summer/fall that I will be able to visit with her.
I am also having the children learn some Greek as well...the root words anyway. I feel that is so needed and will be very helpful in understanding words no matter what language it is in. I am truly enjoying teaching my children and I must say...I'm learning right along with them on so many things.
Love the pictures you submit...your family is just precious!
Love and God's Blessings
Cat
I found your site through MrsCatherine. I loved seeing your photos of your family and your activities in France. I loved taking three years of French in high school and learning a little of the culture then. I had a pen pal when I was a girl and loved learning of her family. I would love to subscribe and see glimpses into another world and culture once again. Thank you for sharing your world.

Clara
Michel,
I certainly enjoy your comments in French. (: I need the practice in reading French, after all. Unfortunately, I'm not so good with writing it, so I'll leave my comments in English.
"Sularz project" is simply a history project. My History teacher is Mr Sularz, so I refer to his work as Sularz work.
Best wishes,
Kate (:
Clementine's such a dolly!
Mm... I've been thinking about girl's names. There are too many strange names around these days. I prefer the traditional ones like Clementine. Any other traditional names that are now uncommon?
youth is a special time full of memory making!
you continually cause a smile to come to me showing pics of your beautiful family ~ it brought memories to me of how i once ran wild making "forts" hiding food in the ground & running the field of my grandfathers place as a child ~ i am sure these are moments of precious time that will be looked on later in time by the adventurers and a more than fond grandfather memory will return ~ thank you michael ~ grandmother love is special too ~ magi
You have such wonderful times with your grandchildren. The best times are the simple time, aren't they!
Have a nice weekend, Michel.
Paula
Hi Michel as you see I am back from my trip to NY . I have kept some Euros ( which I used in Dublin Airport ) ready for our trip which is now only 7 weeks off
. What lovely photos of the grandchildren
Beaucoup des comments, cher Michel! Chapeau! Abientot.
What great joy your family brings you and that you share with them.
Salut, Michel!
J'adore tes photos! A propos, tu as combien de petits-enfants??? Ils sont tous tellement adorables!!
bisous et à bientôt. Tiffany
I came here from Mommer's (Rosemary's) site. Have seen you commenting on several sites that I also read and comment on.
We have something in common. We also have 12 grandchildren--the youngest will be three the end of July. But our youngest is a boy, named Linden. Our oldest grandchild, a boy also, is 21 1/2. We have 2 sons--each have 6 children. Each family has 3 boys and 3 girls. Aren't grandchildren the most wonderful blessings of our advancing years?? We certainly think so!
Janine is a very beautiful grandmother!!
I still like to play with bows and arrows! What lucky children to have such loving grandparents to share their time!
Its nice to be a kid again. Seeing the picture of your two grandsons with there home-made toys reminded my of all the toys I managed to improvised with when I was young too. I used to steal little knicknacks from my grandmother's vanity like jars of her face cream or lotion, and used it as a stool/chair for my dolls.
As a child you get really creative!
Ah! Clementine, quelle mignonne!!!
Amities,
Clementine
The two boys remind me of Robin Hood. They are wonderful.
and again, u have a keen eye for happiness...

The children use the best playmate of all, imagination! They are a wonder, children, the way they come upon ideas that give them such fun and joy. I think they are wonderful Michel!
And baby Clementine bears the resemblance of her grandmother. It is more apparent when viewing this last picture. They seem to have such a nice time together.
Thank you for sharing your family with us!
Hugs and love,
Deb
Imagination is important in the developement of children. Good to see them playing outside and not on a playstation.
no im not a web any thing my daughters show me stuff and codes and how to us them i actually drop out of school at 16 and I have had faith in Our Lord since as long as i can remember . God Bless sweety thank you for always putting a smile on my face and a lite in my heart
If you keep heart, just as yourself, it's younger you grow as more love you gift.
What beautiful children, it looks as if you all had a wonderful spring break. Thank you, I am feeling relaxed about things now.
The grandchildren are wonderful. These pictures are so special, especially of Janine and Clementine. And Oh my the "tree house" reminds me of my younger days. Even at 7 years, I had one of the best....beat the boys. I am meloncholy with remembrances.
It's amazing the difference between boys and girls at that age, isn't it? It seems that although both were doing completely different things, they each had a good time. I was a tomboy growing up myself, so I most definitely would have been in that tree with your grandsons
I hope all is well with you! It may be spring here, but it's unfortunately very cold at this time. How is the weather in beautiful France?
<3
Merci!! (Instead of cheating and using a web translater like google's).

Michel? Do you still have that site up...Kitchen Garden? I would LOVE to see that one!! Any helpful tips or suggestions on herbal gardening? Recipes??? I love french cooking and do a lot of that in my home...anything that you and Janine would care to share would be warmly received and truly appreciated!!! :O)

your grandchildren, as always, have left smiles on my face...they are wonderfully beautiful...huggs...Sassy
Dear Michel...Just stopping by really super quick while I have this second....Thank you so much for your kind words at my Xanga the other day. I really appreciate it so much! (((Hugs)))
This is my first time visiting. I think it is great that you translate everything. I took French twice in college and dropped it twice... I do speak 3 different languages...
This is an addition to my post:
EDIT II:
OK, most of you don't know me at all, but I am a total giver. Who would give up their own career to build up their husband's (ex now, he divorced me because he never loved me and wanted out, that was his excuese), I took care of my mom when she had breast cancer (I would drive to 4 different restuarants just to buy her favorite foods, drove her to all of her appointments, stay awake to help her when she throws up), gave up 3 months this year to care for my grandma who has Parkinson's and dementia. I could've been doing my own thing and building my own life. I give to the point where I get sick. I am seeing a shrink at least once a week to work on my "issues" (lack of self esteem, being too self critical, and too judgemental on myself) and that is why this post seems to be all about me and what I want. Trust me, for those who actually knows me in person, you know what I am really like.
Michel,
I am sure you are told this repeatedly, but to
express it again, you have a beautiful family!
I don't know how you find the time to go to
the sites of so many fans AND to comment -
you are truly a lovely person.
~Isa
I just want to know, what do you do with 113 comments? Grandkids I could handle, well, eventually, not yet as our oldest is 16... but 113 comments! That's outlandish! this would make 114! Now what? *smiles*
A tree house!! Fantastic! and your grandchildren are beautiful! Yes, boys certainly go through a period of making weapons and whatnot. Rascals!
Hey sweety hope all is well with you and yours . I'm feeling lots better but its still cool here in Ohio in the 50s God Bless.

that picture makes me want to climb trees....ah to be a kid again! hope you're having a good week Michael.

What a blessed and beautiful life you have. I bet your grandchildren can't wait to come to your home. There is a mind wealth sanctuary there. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
Love, Brenda
"nut-chucks" I believe is the English word, we anglos turn everything into our bastard-language!
Get days, months even, when I feel worse than others. I have a sort of brain-wasting disease, which does not afect my mentalness except laterally, but does stop parts of my body working until my mind can catch up with it! Weird, but nothing unusual for stroke victims.
You will be missed Michel, you know we all love you. Please take good care of you and come back with more of France and your lovely family soon.
Love, Brenda
Grandchildren are the rewards of raising our children. They bring such joy and beauty into our lives. I see from Marj's site you are taking a rest from Xanga. You will be missed but know our love is with you
Nancy
You've captured the spirit of little boys and little girls and the feelings of grand parents very well. I have photos of my son with nearly these same poses on many camping trips... One we took of he and his friend coming out of thier sister's tent with a guilty look on their faces... they had just put some crawdad ( small lobsters or longousta looking creatures) under thier tent... I miss and loved those times with the kids. I love the adventurousness of my son and his hunts for creatures and his imagination and I loved baking cookies and making doll clothes and having girl talk with my daughters and their friends... It is all good memories and your photos make me smile
xoxo
How much fun you all must have had!!
First hand I do not know a lot about boys and their development considering it was only us girls. I do remember playing "Native American" with my best friend when I was real young. She lived in the country and we made underground houses and got very dirty. I loved playing that game the most with my friend had a pony. And any time we were in danger in our game we woul dget on her bareback and ride away.
I am happy for your time with your grandchildren. I am sure they adore you as much as you do them
sarah
Take care, my new friend! Look forward to your return.
Salut Michel!

Wonderful pictures, as always. I hope you can rest your eyes, and so come back soon!

(crosses fingers) *bonne chance, Caroline*
I hope you come back soon! Your countless readers will be lost without you and your insightful blogs.

(words & music by mann-low) Baby let me be/Your lovin’ teddy bear/Put a chain around my neck/And lead me anywhere/Oh let me be/Your teddy bear/I don’t wanna be a tiger/Cause tigers play too rough/I don’t wanna be a lion/'cause lions ain’t the kind/You love enough/Just wanna be, your teddy bear/Put a chain around my neck/And lead me anywhere/Oh let me be/Your teddy bear/Baby let me be, around you every night/Run your fingers through my hair/And cuddle me real tight
enjoy your break, will be watching for your return
Just wanted to drop in to wish you a great day!!! Hope you are not overdoing it with the outside work. It is still too cool here to do too much outside-only 26 degrees F this morning-Brr...
Have a great weekend and take some time off for you!!!

I'd probably be with the boys, waving my stick sword!
12 petits enfants?!?

a marching band is an extracurricular activity at school where we play music while marching in a parade or we do halftime shows at football games and play the national anthem for soccer games. i play the flute. we're marching in our memorial day parade next week.

ah michel, you're entries are beautfiul as always. your experiences bring me back to my childhood, as cliche as it sounds, yet they make me want to aspire to live the kind of life you do one day, with grandchildren, content and pleased with what ive done with my life . thank you
anita
I hope you feel better!

hello again:) im in the men and womens choir at school, usually we sing a lot of concert formal and classica music, but for the spring concert we did a lot of pop music. My solo was in "aint no mountain high enough" from that song in the sixties/seventies. all went well! take care
anita
Wishing you well!! Thank you for all of your sweet comments! <3
Michel, it is so good to hear from you. I hope your eyes will improve quickly, it cannot be fun to see things through a blur.
I understand about the garden work, the weather is not too great here. It has been raining or bitter cold, almost every day in May. I know what you mean about slowing down. I wish I could work like I used to.
I updated my site on the wars. My brothers were in Vietnam, my Unkle Bud in World War II, and my dad in World War I. My dad was 18 years older than my mom, that's why he was in the first world war.
Your Father-in-law a POW for 5 years, how sad. I am afraid the effects of war are far reaching.
Thanks for asking about me, I am doing much better, except I still tire easily. I think it is a side effect of the medication I am on. Take care!!!
Love
Edie Rose
hope you get lots of rest and come back soon : )
Thinking of you, dear, sweet man! How are your days, now that it is nearing summer?
Mon ami, Glad you are feeling better! Easy on the eyes. Merci beaucoup for your comment! Yoga is such a great helper, helps to bring peace to the heart and mind, but also is a great energizer. Take care of yourself! <3 Love, Laurie
I REALLY miss you Michel...I hope everything is going well with you and you're just out spending the summer with your wonderful family! I'm really looking forward to seeing you around again soon. You wouldn't believe how much your inspirational and encouraging words have helped me through rough times. The last couple of months haven't been the best to me I'm afraid but I'm trying to make the best of it!!
it's great to know that we can take such simple things as playing in a tree house an have some of the most wonderful memories of our lives.

<3ashera

Michel!!!! It was soooo good to hear from you! :O)
The program for the exchange students has asked us to teach English. They have provided a curriculum for us to use and the students must receive so many hours of instruction before returning home.
I have been looking into some programs for us to learn French here at home. They are very expensive and when you do purchase a program it is very disappointing for they focus more on the conversation and not the grammatical instruction I am looking for. I did however find one on About.com that does cover grammar as well. They offer programs for other languages as well.
I really think I just need to either go to France and live for awhile...:O) or have someone stay with us and speak only French!
I am so glad to know you are in good health! I know you must be so busy with your garden. Love to Janine...
xoxo Cat
Michel, hi! You've just added another reader among your long list! You have a very interesting site, and you are a very wise and intelligent person. It's no wonder you have such a following of readers. I love to see the pictures of your country. I've never been to France, and I doubt I ever will, so it's nice to see it through your eyes. I can see France is a beautiful country!
whats up old maan...

As the moon can effect the tides, and a woman's cycle, so can it affect us-deeply. Thank you for your comment Michel! Hoping you are well?!

Michel, I'm trying to pass the word around that we should have a day of silence in support for England, here in the xanga community, on Sunday, July 10th. No posting or comments. You have so many readers, we could reach a lot of people if you would be so kind as to put up a post asking them to do this. I'm going to paste the message I put up on my site in this comment. You are welcome to copy and paste it into your site, or write your own appeal. I would so appreciate it if you could try to post before Sunday...not much time I know, and I'm sorry, but the idea just now occured to me. Thank you, ahead of time! zenday (Kaye)
