Pendant que je tape ce blog il neige , et il neige beaucoup . Et pour un premier Mars c ' est exceptionnel pour nous ici à Amiens dans le nord de la France .. Voici sur la photo ci - dessus ce que je vois depuis par la fenêtre en ce moment précis . Du sel a été déposé dans la rue et dans une entrée pour faire fondre cette neige .
While I type this blog it is snowing , and it snows much . We are on the first of March and it is exceptional for us , here , in Amiens iin Northern France . Here is on the picture above what I see out the window at this exact moment . Salt has been put on the street and a drive way to make the snow melt .

Et voici ce que je vois depuis notre salle de séjour sur l ' arrière de la maison. C ' est le garage et
l 'ancienne écurie avec un aspect inhabituel . La vieille lanterne et la pompe qui ornent le mur en briques blanches apparaissent sombres On voit aussi une partie de la pelouse . Blanche .
And here is what I see from our living room on the back of the house. This the garage and the
ancient stall with an unusual look . The old lantern and the pump that ornate the wall made with white bricks look dark . We see also a part of the lawn with the trees . White !
Voici ce que je vois depuis notre second étage : la perspective sur les toits de mon bureau et de l ' ancienne écurie . On voit mieux la pelouse et les arbres . Le potager est encore plus loin caché .
This above is what I see from our second floor : the perspective of the roofs of my personal office and the ancient stall . We see better the lawn and the trees . The vegetable garden is farther hidden by the trees
Pour beaucoup d ' amis américains cela n ' a rien de surprenant mais pour nous c ' est un événement . Les autoroutes sont dangereuses malgré le salage on le sablage . Janine devait aller voir son père dans une maison de retraite à 80 km d ' ici . Elle ira demain .
Les services sociaux s ' efforcent de trouver les sans - abris pour leur offrir un abri pour la nuit . mais certains ne veulent pas et préfèrent se débrouiller seuls . Pourtant il gèle la nuit -( -6 ° C ).
Puisse le doux printemps arriver bientôt !
For many American friends this is not surprising but for us it is an event . The highways are dangerous in spite of the salt and rhe sand spraid on thm . Janine had to go to a rest home at 80 km from here to meet her father . She will go tomorrow .
The social service tries to find the poor people without house to offer to them a shelter for the night . Some of them prefer to manage on their own . However it is freezing on night ( - 6 ° C ) .
May the sweet springtime come soon !
