  La muse dit ces mots au poète français Alfred de Musset ( XIX ème siècle ) dans un fameux poème " la nuit de Mai " . Par son amour elle l ' encourage à écrire ses vers . Il y a des moments où l ' inspiration manque .

  Au centre - ville d ' Amiens il y a une monumentale horloge en fer du début du XX ème siècle . A sa base se tient une statue en bronze de femme à demi - dévêtue . Cette femme fait penser à cette muse . Elle inspire les gens . De nombreux couples se font photographier à ses pieds . Et cela sous le regard bienveillant de Notre - Dame la superbe cathédrale gothique d ' Amiens construite au XIII ème siècle et récemment nettoyée .
