Twelve grandchildren - Wow. I thought I have done well with 7 and 2 greatgrands too but I don't think I'll ever match you ( well one never knows does one ?. We had 4 children 1 girl Julie and 3 boys ( we had a son who died aged 4 hours ) how many children did you have ?

A Voitre Sante Michel sorry cannot find a little thingy to put over the last e. You have named them well by the way they are looking at time of picture. Yours are much younger than mine. My youngest being 12 and then from 21 - 35 so some of my Greats are the ages of your Grandxhildren. Lovely photos though. I am not critising I think your English extremely good but Unique is spelt this way in Englisn, not unic. Were I only to make one little mistake. I have a son Nicholas and a great. Take Care I am sure you and Janine are very proud of your family how many children did yours come from my 12 came from 4. Love Marjie. I think I signed myself Portia to you they other day. An English expression. "Sometimes I don't know whether I am Arthur or Martha". Thats when you get muddled.

I think perhaps by "glance" you mean countenance or look? One usually hears the word glance as a verb, not a noun. (just a thought)

Clementine is looking as though she will live up to her name, she is beautiful! The latest and smallest addition to such a beautiful family! No wonder you are so proud, and rightfully so. My French teacher talked to us yesterday about the hatred between the French and us Americans right now, and I don't think it's right. I don't even believe in war, and I'm in love with France. I'm sure that the French are wonderful people and I really want to get to know them; I hope that when I visit that I won't be judged just because I am American.

J'ai oublie la rhythm! I was singing A La Claire Fontaine in my head all this time, (since you posted the verses) and then j'ai decide de casser les fenetres de ma maison . . . et j'ai realise ...I have completely forgotten the melody except for those two lines :Il y a longtemps.../ je ne t'oublierai"! How crazy! Can you think of a song in the English language that has a similar melody for the rest of the verses? I am so silly!
Your grandchildren are absolutely amazing! I love seeing pictures of families like this and seeing the similarities among the children! All of your grandchildren are very beautiful--I especially like the picture of Antoine and Manon! Antoine has such an expressive face for such a little child--it is amazing to think what kind of happiness the children feel. Thank you for the beautiful pictures.

I'm sure my husband and I will NEVER be in your league as far as grandchildren go. We have but one son and he's 33 and finally getting married in April. But I doubt very much if he produces 12 grandchildren. I'll be delighted with even 2 or 3. Your grandchildren look like little darlings.
