    Vous vous souvenez de la naissance des jumeaux le 24 Août 2013 . Sur la photo ci-dessous Raphaël  à gauche et Yris à droite  étaient nés depuis une semaine. Yris paraissait déjà très active  et entreprenante . Ils sont très différents.

     

    You remember the birth of the twins on August 24, 2013. On the picture, Raphael on the left and Yris  on the right, were born a week ago. Yris already  looked more vivid and enterprising.  They are very different .

     

    Janine pour différentes raisons ( météo, santé ) ne les avait pas vus depuis un mois et demi et commençait à s’ennuyer d’eux . Mais dernièrement ils étaient chez nous.. On voit l’intrépide Yris , à gauche) déjà sur les genoux de Janine tandis que Raphaël à droite  n’ est pas très ravi de se voir ainsi momentanément laissé.de côté. Leur grand-mère est  remplie de joie .et c’ était amusant de la voir .

     Janine for some reasons ( weather , health ) had not seen them for a month and half and she was starting to get bored of them. But lately they were at our home; You see the intrepid Yris on the left who already took the Janine's lap. Raphael on the right not so happy to be momentaneously left aside !! Their grandmother is bursting of joy .It was the fun to see Janine with her latest grandchildren

     

    Et déjà ils jouent à faire un puzzle. Leur intelligence est précoce, bien entendu, et ce n'est pas moi qui dirais le contraire  :)

    And already they play with a puzzle . They are precocious in intelligence, of course . It is not me who will say the opposite :)

  • hehehe - Little girls are good at getting what they want.
    Heart hug to Raphael... poor sweet boy. Little boys are so wonderful... so are little girls, just in different ways. Little boys just seem so vulnerable. It is sweet.
    His turn will come. It was always one of the sweetest things when my daughters sweet 'little brother', became their sweet 'big brother', towering over them protectively. :-)
    Such sweet joy for Janine to be holding them again.

  • Happy 2 1/2 to beautiful Yris and Raphael!!!
    Those 1/2's are important when you are a child! But, I don't hear any adults saying, "I'm 40 1/2!" or "I'm 52 1/2!" HA! :-D
    I'd say Raphael is in the blue shirt! :-) And Yris is doing the animal puzzle! :-)

    Do you feel differently towards girls and boys? With my daughter, I feel compassion. I want to protect her and just hold her in my arms. With my son, I feel delight. He's so cheeky but he always make me smile.

    • Yes Catherine,the girl, is very vivid, dynamic and spontaneous , Raphael, the boy is calmer and he is pondering before action

  • Michel, I am alive and well. I have been very busy preparing The Artist Cave for it's grand opening in May. There is much work to do.
    I have been putting up drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, lighting, a new heating and cooling system, and the list goes on and on and on.
    I have been painting also, and hosting periodic events at the studio/gallery. So very busy and not spending much time at all on the computer.

    I must admit I miss blogging, but for the time being it has not been a priority for me.

    You two Grand twins look to be a pair of fine gems. If they are blessed with 1/4 of your personality then they will be truly amazing people.

    Janine looks happy to be with her treasures.

    The weather here is as wintery as I can remember, much shoveling of snow and bitter cold days and nights. I feel like an Eskimo.

  • I cannot tell the twins apart. Were I their parents of Grandparents I suppose I could.

    Wil is like you, never a surgery until his ear. Now he faces cataracts I bet.

  • It seems like just yesterday when they arrived.

    • You are right ,Neil, the fast growing of our grandchildren allows to better measure the the speed of time
      that passes that passes
