For the year that is coming
Je souhaite à chacun de mes amis de Xanga une bonne prochaine année 2005 : santé , amour , paix . Cela fait de nombreux souhaits aussi nombreux que les pâquerettes de la photo , symbole d ' espoir .
Mais nous avons à avoir pensées et prières pour toutes ces personnes , innombrables , tuées par le gigantesque raz de marée dans différents pays d ' Asie , pour ceux qui ont perdu les membres de leur famille ou ceux qui ont tout perdu . Le monde entier est en deuil après cet horrible événement .
Cependant chacun de vous , comme moi - même , ont besoin des souhaits et encouragements pour faire face à l ' année qui vient . Je les formule donc pour vous .

I wish to each of my xanga friends a great next year 2005 : health , love , peace . So my wishes are as numerous as the daisies shown on the pictures , flowers of hope .
But we have also in mind thoughts and prayers for all of those people , innumerable , killed by the huge tidal wave in different Asian countries , for those who lost family members or those who lost all of things . The whole world is in the mourning after that horrid event .
However each of you , like myself , needs wishes and encouragments to cope with the year that is coming . So I send you those wishes .

The daily news about the tsunami damage is getting worse, the reports are heart-rending, let'e hope that all countries rally round with aid. We have been given details of how/where to send money to help.and reminded that most of us have spent a great deal of money on our family and friends at Christmas but even a small amount will make a difference.

Thank you for the New Year's wishes. It is my wish, my heart desire, that peace would come to all people. I wish you and your wife a year of many blessings, with good health, faithful friends, and prosperity.
Like you, I mourn for all those people is Asia that have suffered though this terrible event. I am especially sad for the children who have lost their parents. I know that countries and people all over the world will provide whatever assistance is needed, and for that I am thankful.

Indeed, God is very close to those in need at this time. That is the saving grace of their situation. They know the nearness of the Creator; we can only guess at how they have the courage to go on. I believe it may be that they feel Divine Presence as intense security and affection, despite how it may outwardly appear to the rest of us that God let nature run amuck with this terrible cosmic event. We can not want to know God if we do not feel the need. So out of this chaos will come at least some spiritual renewal, maybe even a great deal of it for the untold many victims, and not total suffering and disbelief. But true enough, for those left behind, there cannot help but be great mourning. I pray we learn again through this how to value life more highly and how to wage peace on the Earth in general. Daisies! You couldn't have found a more perfect field of flowers! My dearest photo of my great-grandmother is one of her sitting in a large field of daisies on our property with daisies braided into her hair in a kind of halo. And so the daisies, to me, represent an ongoing love and hope through the generations. It is daisies that I carried when I was married, and they will always remain my favorite. They are, yes, such a joyful face and representative of hope.
It is a difficult time we are living in. I send prayers for all those who are suffering, through the devastation of this act of nature, and through the acts of the government of the USA as well. My heart dreams of a peaceful, kind, loving world. Perhaps it is too much to desire. Perhaps it will be one day.
I wish for you and your family good health, beauty to surround you, joy, love, and peace in this coming year.

J'étais certaine d'avoir répondu ce matin.
Pour ce qui est des chats, je trouve les photos mignonnes et dad les aime. Nous n'avons jamais eu d'animaux domestiques parce que ma maman est contre. Moi, j'aime bien les chiens.
Pour l'Internet, c'est une liste toute faite que je modifie un peu, mais ce ne sont pas mes résolutions. Moi je ne prends pas de bonnes résolutions parce que je ne suis pas sûre de les tenir. Au fait, j'essaie de ne pas passer y trop de temps et je ne chatte presque jamais; de plus, je ne surfe pas quand je suis en cours.
S'il y avait quelque chose au sujet de Chris, j'ai oublié. Mais Clem a fait sa connaissance cet été quand elle était chez nous. Tu n'es jamais venu aux Etats-Unis, Michel? Nous avons un beau pays.

Thanks for all your kind comments to me over the last year, I always appreciate what you say, i haven't written you a proper tree one yet ,but will work on it. I am not so spritely in the summer months, it is either hot or cooler cloudy and humid. I managed to get through to Red Cross today and gave my small donation to the Tsunami vistims. they took my name address and telephone number and said eventually i would get a receipt I said don't bother I don't need one, she said no, we will thank everybody but we have had so many donate it will take some time ,so i am glad a lot of Australians have made donations they got over a million in Sydney last night, how awful to go in that way. i would be nervous living near a sea .We can and have had Earth Quakes over here. I felt one tremor many years ago, but the wost one was Darwin years ago, and Newcastle N.S. Wales ,a few years ago Where I live is on the fault line ,luckily all our houses are mostly all one storey they don't build many 2 storey ones. Love to you and Janine. Marjie

For those people who lived in what we would call paradise, they have lost their lives to the side of Mother Nature we would rather not think about. To them I say goodbye, as they are "welcomed home" on the other side. Our human nature is sad at the thought of so many...so many....people gone who seemed to be innocent and did not deserve such a sudden death. It is difficult to realize that in some fashion God chose to call them home.....and reclaim their souls, young and old alike. Mother Nature is the great equalizer....

My dear, perhaps I need to give you some background information. Early this morning a putrid woman named MissPaz
made a comment in which she called me a racist. She said that I am a Nazi racist bigot. On top of that, she also alluded
that the people I associate with (all of you) are equally despicable and that my PeachyCarpet is "disturbing".
I logically concluded that the girl must have a dangerously low IQ. Either that or she snorts a lot of glue-Paste.
When I went to confront her and asked her to show proof of my racism, she simply deleted my comment and blocked my username.
She is a slanderous wench and does not even have the human decency to defend her point of view.
Later, she posted this on her blog..

I love how you related your wishes for all your friends and used the picture of the daisies as the example. beautifully put. I absolutely love daisies. They are my favorite. Every year for my birthday my mom would buy me white daisies. I have always felt that if I were a flower I would be a daisy. It is a flower with a very natural and simple beauty.
Yes, it is a very terrible thing that has happened with the Tsunami. It has really made me kind of not care about my own worries, but in a good way. The things that I feel are problem areas in my life are nothing to what has happened to all those affected by the tradgedy. BUT I am very proud of those around me who I see wanting to help or offer prayers. Even here in LA, where it often seems like nobody cares about much of anything but their own...
And thank you so much Michel for your kind wishes and words for the Christmas and New Years. I was determined to get to your email to wish you the same.Time had different plans for me though. Nonethless, I hope that your Christmas and New Years were happy holidays. Hope you had more than enough time to spend with your precious wife, children and grandchildren.
