The roses of the life . At Christmas Day : See this man standing up with his wife besides him . How much he looks happy at seeing his family gathered around the table . A few days after : See the same man struggling to gather the dead leaves , to dig out the buttercup and binweed ' s roots between the rose bushes in the flower border . It 's no more the same song ! The days follow each other but they are not alike . " Pick from today the roses of the life " as the french poet Ronsard said ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After reading the first comments I have to specify .The picture of " hard working" above is a symbol to make contrast with the previous one . I wanted only to say we have to appreciate the quiet , peaceful and healthy times in our life because who knows what tomorrow holds
