Poverty and humaneness .
Last Thuesday my wife and I were invited by Social Services to share a simple meal with a few poors of our town . There were all kinds of poverty : old alone persons having no much resources , rather young people with a turbulent past , sick people and also strangers landed on France like that Cambodian whom all the family had been killed by Red Khmers . All these people seemed happy to see us among them . There was even gaiety during the meal ( without wine ) . Progressively I had a deep feeling of human solidarity . " RICH " AND POORS AROUND THE SAME TABLE : we were together simple human beings . These wounded by life persons gave us a lesson of humaneness .

What a nice initiative. I think that sharing experiences can make everybody richer in a certain way. At least, as you wrote, more humane.
it is so nice when we have the opportunity to share with people less fortunate than us...sometimes..they just teach us what's the real importance about life...we in the rush of the everyday life forget many things...God always find a way to get us straight...even through the ones who doesnt have a proper home..or a job...or money..or family...mostly through those who have suffered...what a beautiful experience you had....thanks for sharing wit us...take care xally..
Isn't sad tho that something like that has to bring people to be kind and caring and not always just be that way natural. Meaning it takes someones heart and troubleness to bring others together.
I think its lovely how people from different backgrounds can come together as equals and there to be no prejudice on their background. If only life could be like that all the time.
Amen to what Heavenscent wrote.
