Perce - neige sans neige .
Pas de neige à Amiens et dans les plaines du Nord de la France cette année . La neige est au Canada , aux USA et en Europe de l ' Est probablement . Nous ne savons plus ce qu ' est la neige depuis plusieurs années .
Cependant le Perce - neige commence à pousser . Cette plante est remplie d ' espoir . Elle espère que la neige sera bientôt là et elle pousse .
Comme elle , espérons toujours dans l ' avenir .
Snow - drop without snow .
No snow in Amiens and in the plains of North France this year . Snow is in Canada , USA and Eastern Europa probably . We didn ' t have known what the snow was for some years .
However Snow - drop is beginning to grow . This plant is hopeful . It hopes that the snow will be soon there and it is growing .
Like it , always put our hope in the future .

Michel~are you talking about the little white bulbs that flower in late winter??
We had a French family that lived with us for about a year. In all that time, I never wanted to learn French. But since reading your site, I want to learn!!

Here in Rhode Island, we received four inches of snow on Saturday night. We need more snow, though, to have plenty of water for the summer.

Answer to Created and Roknrandy : Yes snowdrops are the little bulbs that are flowering in late winter with white small bellflowers and long narrow leaves .
Oh! Yes ! I know those little bulbs! It's so wonderful to see little green shoots coming out of the brown earth! It is amazing! I remember planting some daffodil bulbs! I will never forget my son checking the spot every day sayng "mom they are not growing" !Then one day after coming home from school, Christopher screamed,"Mom they are growing"! Those are the precious moments in the cycle of life! Thank you, Michel ,for planting the bulbs ! Please post some photos if you can! @--}--}----- Karolyn

C'est un peu stupide -- nous pensons que, commes les hommes (et femmes! =)), nous avons avancé si bien pour longtemps avec la technologie et tout, et alors, une petite fleur, qui nous dit les choses qu'on peut pas apprendre dans un lycée. =/

Michel~about snowdrops, I have some in my yard that I planted about 10 years ago. They bloom every late winter. The blooms only last a few days but I sure appreaciate their beauty while it lasts.

il fait chaud ici... 60 F... trop pour le janvier, en tout cas.
une belle expression en anglais, on dit "when it rains, it pours". c'est à dire, quand il tombe la pluie, c'est une orage forte.
on ne lit plus voltaire chez moi... on étudie la culture et l'histoire de la france. la gaule romaine, tout ca. quand même, on apprend bcp, même si le prof est polonais
