Puisse l' esprit de Noël continuer de nous inspirer ainsi que le monde entier. Il était si bon à Noël d ' avoir tous nos enfants rassemblés autour de nous et aussi de voir les petits-enfants grandir rapidement et faisant de leur mieux sur le chemin de la vie.

The busy bee of the day and the days before . The queen Janine got a smartphone as a gift from our 6 children . Until then she used a basic cell phone
L' abeille industrieuse de ce jour et des précédents. La reine Janine reçut de la part des nos six enfants un smartphone comme cadeau. Jusqu' alors elle utilisait une téléphone portable de base.
The angels of the day : Raphael and Yris. So sweet and exemplary ; On the photo they are aside to play in peace but from time to time they go to the table for eating and cuddling Do you remember when you had their age of what you felt when you were looking at this grand table with a lot of adults and great adolescents speaking loudly and laughing or singing.?

Sur la photo ils sont sur un côté de la pièce jouant tranquillement mais de temps en temps ils passaient à table pour manger une bouchée et câliner. Vous souvenez-vous quand vous aviez leur âge de ce que vous ressentiez en regardant la grande table avec les adultes et les grands adolescents parlant fort, riant ou chantant ?Janine and I wish for you a very peaceful new year 2015 filled with health or quick recovery for the sick people , and a lot of love .
May Christmas Spirit inspire us and the entire world . It was so good at Christmas to get all of the children gathered around us and also to see the grandchildren growing up , doing the best they can on their way of life.

Mornin Glorie, I am at home now and have time to respond to the Christmas table question. In our family the men would be served first, there was not a table large enough for the whole clan to sit together, the children would be served next and then the women, I have the vague recollection of my mother, grandmother and aunts congregating in the kitchen, eating and laughing and enjoying each others companionship...I love our family and feel so blessed to have them, not everyone is as fortunate as we are! A wondrous family gathering. We had to use 3 tables, 2 in the dining area, and 1 for the children in the kitchen. Our dining room, living room, and kitchen are all open to each other. We are both blessed with large families, and many people to love and to love us.

There were three tables put together: two large ones and a small one . It was a max!!:) Next year we will have to get another arrangement of the tables!

Hello Michel and Ty for your comments my posts about the flooding in our little town.
We do live on the ground floor since we moved from that upstairs apt. four years ago when hubby could no longer get up and down the stairs.
We didn"t get any water in our apt. and no one else here did either, although it was a frightening night waiting to see if it was going to reach us from the flooded parking lot.
We are grateful.
TY for your comment on my post of the flooding our apt. complex Michel. We watched it most of the night and were prepared to leave and thankfully the water receded and we were safe.
