Un bouquet d ' enfants
A bouquet of children
English version below the pictures
Manon (5) Sarah (7) holding Clementine '(2 1/2) Antoine 3) Joe ( 5)
It was during a Feast Day , on the last 15th August . There was a familial meal at our home . Someone pictured this bunch of grand children watching the TV . I was amazed in looking at this photo some days ago . I had the impression de see a picture in pastel , un bouquet of children , un Youth festival . This sight was soothing my soul a bit anxious a this moment .
Clara ( 7) Antoine Luis ( 10 years old ) Sarah
And this other photo showing the grand children playing train with their tricycles made me smile .Is n ' t it full of life . What a pleasure they have to play together , without any worry . We feel the joy of life and we breath it .
-------------------
5 grandchildren were missing on this day but in full summer it is hard to gather all the family .

FIRST COMMENT!
Oh those are lovely photos - you have a beautiful family - I wish I could go back and play like a kid again - with no worries, just pure joy
C~
Antoine is the cutest! I can't wait to be your age and look upon the fruit of my loins. They're beautiful!
I simply adore your posts.
And I love the blue walls in that room.
What a wonderful sight your grandchildren make Michel
Your lounge looks wonderful in the photo as well . I have to say to everyone else coming here thats its a great privilage to sit in your lounge like we have done
Now I know what you hide in all your sheds all the childrens bikes etc
I took too long to write my comment
as no one was here when I got here
Yes , yo uare right in describing them as a bouquet of flowers. They are beautifull in the best time of life, like flowers flowering.
The big clock is just still for a moment , the time was also in admiration of this scene and for a moment forgot to move. You should adjust the clock again.

Sometimes, in order to figure out where we are, we have to look at those around us.
The grand children are beautiful. I agree, this gathering of innocent children is a masterpiece. Such a sweet feeling to look at the youthful happiness and gentle energy.
Did Janine decorate this lovely peaceful room in your home? This room in your home looks very restful and happy.
These pictures make me smile
I have pictures of Blizzie on my blog from Sunday. She is dressed to go to a dance with her friend.
I hope you are having a very good week, Michel.

quel groupe animé!
I am surprised that the woman takes your card!!! Those cards are expensive. We have a policy where we do not take anyone's card. That way if it is damaged or lost we do not have to replace it. It would be too costly to replace people's cards all the time. But, I guess it depends on how big the shop and how educated the employees are. Hmmm.
Children playing is a beautiful site! I tell you that Antoine looks like he can be a little stinker at times! Must take after his grandfather!!
What beautiful children and what a beautiful room. Like a bouquet of flowers, they are indeed!
Yep Miichel that's me!! haha! I'm so silly sometimes and especially if there's a camera around!!
What wonderful pictures!
Have a blessed day!
Michele
Les enfants sont mignon!
Les chansons d'Ilona Mitrecey sont bonnes
The children are precious, Michel! You must be very happy.
PS.
Lovely..lovely...simply lovely...
There's nothing quite like our children and grandchildren!
someday i hope to have just one grandchild~! in the meantime, i'll just enjoy yours, michel. they're absolutely beautiful.
Nothing like grandchildren to soothe the soul and remind us that we will live forever in them.
Nancy
Quels mignons enfants!
~Jenny
What a joy to have grandchildren all the fun none of the worries. Yours are beautiful, you and Janine are very lucky.
Your "Michael needs" was indeed funny. You should have Janine try it.
Gorgeous ! The photo brought back happy memories - been there, seen that, sort of thing
Five of my seven GC are taller than me now - a very sobering thought !
Marie
Oh! How wonderful! What joy and what lovely grandchildren! Your words as do your photographs always move my heart!

Thank you for your comment! When you have a chance, come to my site. I posted an essay I wrote for AP French.
Thank you again for visiting me and being so kind to me!!
Sincerely, Elizabeth
What a beautiful bouquet of grandchildren! It's nice that they are so close in age so they can grow up together.
Hello!!! Clara looks very much like her grandfather!! :O) I hope everyone is well over your way! We are busy getting ready for our move in a few weeks...actually 20 days away!
xoxo Cat
Wow, those kids are cute! They remind me of my many cousins...Beautiful display.
What wonderful, joyous pictures!! They certainly look like they were having a wonderful time by their grandparents! I understand how difficult it is to get the whole family together at one time. Now that many of our grandchildren are getting older, they have jobs that interfere with coming here to see us all at one time. They grow so quickly!!
The room in the first picture is beautiful. Is that a clock on the left side, behind Manon and Sarah? It is gorgeous---looks like an antique.
Soothing to my soul to see, too! You are blessed.
I like your site! It is very interesting and the photographs are lovely. It's good how you are able to make everyday moments magical.
Sue (from Singapore)
Lovely to see your grandchildren. as you are 10 years younger than me, when you catch up, maybe by then you will have a couple of greats as well ,in all ,i expect you may have more in the end than I have, at least you see some of yours ,as mine are all grown up they don't come often ,so i don't see many greats either ,still as one ages ,one finds children a bit tiring .Love Marjie

What a delightful bouquet they are too. Such sweet smiles.
What beautiful pictures of your grandchildren, Michel!
My favourite is the top photo. This would actually make a wonderful painting. Your grandchildren look as if they all get on with one another really well, Michel.
You have a way of capturing life's most important things in your blogs!
Those kids are all so sweet in the face. The best thing about children is the fact that they're so genuine with everything they say and do.
Indeed! joi de vere is all over the pictures.
I still remember my first tricycle. There has never been anything quite like it since ....!
Beautiful bouquet of children! A bit anxious? Is everything all right Michel?
Love to you.
but dont they ever get out of hand!?
Itz a beautiful sight indeed! The carefree vibe of kids is intoxicating n' energizing!
What a joy they are to behold!! I do treasure those moments that children bring us. Giggles are my favorites.
Wishing you many more such moments.
Karen
i love that phrase, "A bouquet of children". What a lovely thought to consider our children as beautiful bouquets....
Your grandchildren are indeed a bouquet and a very lovely one! I know they are a joy to you. Your home is very lovely, too.
I hope that whatever is troubling your soul is resolved soon.
wow! that's gorgeous.. I always wanted to live in France and meet my friend named Stella.. She's a good friend of mine.. We met thru chat.. hehe.. so how are you?
wow i actually understood some of the french words.
and those kids are cute.
emilee
a great blessing...
Ils sont si beaux tes petits-enfants que tu n'as aucun souci à te faire cher Michel !
Amitiés à tous
Thanks for the lovely compliment in you saying I was another pearl in Australia, Michel!
What a lovely thing to say!! And, you do deserve praise for your wonderful blogs!
Always, a smile on your site.
I showed the pictures to my dad, Michel. He agreed, the kids are so sweet, and obviously a source of pride and pleasure for you and Janine. Mom and dad both say "hi".
You got the pics Lynn sent from Thanksgiving? Another "toast to Michel and Janine".
Michel, you are truly blessed, and your granchildren so fortunate. A BOUQUET. colourful, and sweet smelling, emanating their scent of joy in a garden of love.
RITA
it would be wonderful to always feel and see life the way your happy grandchildren see them... if life were always good and safe and we were all so well loved as your family pictured what a great world to live in

i laughed a lot reading the title of this post! they indeed are a bunch!
J'ai compris quoi to as dit sur mon Xanga, Michel.
beurk? haha
it's so wonderful that they get to have those childhood memories! it defintely brings back some childhood memories of my own. i used to love to ride my tricycle when i was little!
the room full of children is just a beautiful sight. your words and pictures cause us all to fall in love with your family!
I can see God has really blessed you. What a nice home you have and most of all what beautiful grandchildren you were so blessed with. God is good. Thank you for a wonderful visit
Love Dorothy
Michel, I understand. This was a philosophical question from a website I belong to--a difficult question, to say the least. In attempting to answer it, it brought up many more questions. I like reading others' viewpoints, as it helps me to broaden my mind in accepting other lines of thought and perspective, promoting growth and acceptance of differences. I believe in all possibilites, whether faith-based, or not. Thank you for coming by--always brightens my day. I understand the anxiety, as it seems we are nearly always 'tested.'by our children. Warm wishes to you.
i sing in the alto section. we're gearing up for christmas so we've just starting singing all the traditional christmas songs. i totally love it. december is my favorite month, it's cold, christmas decorations are up and shopping in the malls is a blast! hope you have a good day

Bon jeudi!
~Jenny
those were some great pictures.
I so enjoy your pictures, Michel. Thanks for sharing them and your special thoughts. (((hugs))) and smiles ~char
You are a blessed man indeed, Michel! Beautiful children!
I love children! I'm going to be a teacher when I grow up!
My presentation went great today!
~*Sazzy*~
I remarked to Carlo, how special it would be to be a child or grandchild in your home. They always look happy.
My goodness...Clementine is 2 1/2 already?! Doesn't time fly!!
It's wonderful to watch the children grow, though, isn't it? I love being able to see my friend's kids grow up.
Those are lovely pictures, thank you for sharing.
I love the pic of the children!
So, what do you do for a living?
Les enfants rendent la vie si heureuse. Être un grand-père est une grande bénédiction.
A bouquet of children, indeed! They look very happy doing simple things, we adults should do the same.
Ok shes there now too lol have a great week end . God Bless.

yes i do
so many grandkids. you are so blessed sir.
It is always nice to record the passing of time within the family of little ones. Last weekend I did just that when I took pictures of my great nephew Lewis and his new sister Bethany
Thanks for the comment fauquet, you are a true friend.
responding to the comment on my husband's site (chefspank)....to answer your question... um NO. Ha Ha Ha!
Hey, my family lives in France. Dragnuignan et Ampus!
Oh, how lovely, Michel!!! In the first picture, I would like a description of the clock in the picture. It is gorgeous. Is it an antique?
As a person who is so kind and generous, you deserve the blessing of these children. It gladdens my heart for you!
Cute grandkids.
saw the link you sent me, nothing like a classic london cab!
and are you lucky to have one right outside you door!:)
Michel, as per your questions on bush and the war--we would all like answers, but they are not forthcoming. No end is in sight for this travesty of a war--based on lies. Over 2,000 US soldiers have now been killed, and much destruction. Our administration is being run by a puppet. So sad.
I hope that one day I have grandchildren to enjoy...
you have lovely curtains, michel. i envy that.
hope you're doing alright. i haven't been around but thoughts are there.
you have beautiful grandchildren! thanks for the pictures!
RYC: yes..daughter pulled a muscle in school..but she is doing better!
Have a great day and God bless you both!!(HUGS) - Gayle
Nice. It reminds me of my childhood, when there would be large family gatherings and I would see my cousins. As the older generations slowly pass away in the family, the bonds disappear and the families drift apart.
You are right, children do have such life and energy... it is a marvel.
Hello Michael,
What a beautiful family you have. It isn't any wonder you have so much joy in your life. All of those children look wonderfully happy and I have enjoyed studying the photos.
You came looking for me. What a sweet man you are. Yes, I need to write the final chapter to our adventure all planned for Terry. I am going to try to finish it this weekend. I will make sure to let you know when it is up.
It sounds as if you enjoyed my photo pages. I really needed to find the photo ring I found (PhotoChallenge and her challenge pages weekly_Photo_Challenge) as it has helped me to work myself back into regular posting on my photo pages. I don't know how you do it with so many readers. I am just too worn out to do it all but I keep trying.
The entry about our trip turned out to be such a big endeavor it has taken me some time to sort it all out and get it done. I hope sometime soon to get another short trip on the blog as well.
Thanks so much for your kindness and I was very tickled to see your name on my photo blog. I hope you stop back to it to see what goes on there.
Regards,
Becca aka LittleEgypt, PhotoGraphics and a few more
Beautiful children, all of them! And to be surrounded by so many is always fun. I guess that's why I have been a teacher for so long. I just love kids... always have. Their youthful spirit, innocent vision of the world and the wonder of discovery reminds us to appreciate everything and every day. Hope you are having a good weekend. Many blessings, kc
The blue walls, the wonderful children, it is no wonder you are so happy!

Joyeux Halloween!!
Thanks for the comments. I've never been to France and I don't speak French but I think it's a beautiful language and country. Marcel Proust is my favorite writer.
You have such beautiful grandchildren, such lovely flowers. They must make you very happy, and I bet they love to go to Grandma and Grandpa's.
You have such a beautiful family - I bet they have a lot of fun when they get to visit with you!! Things are going pretty good here. I've been so busy with work though. That's not too fun. My migraines are getting much better though - so that is really good!
How is your garden? Hope you and Janine are doing well!
Hugs,
Livia
you're the first person to know what nihilism is! thank you so much!

Bueno!! Such a posey of children..and they are all so..French..lucky little ones!! ((Wings))

Un jardin des petits enfants!! Trés belle!!! My garden of grandchildren is small, but precious. My daughter is beginning to talk about adding to my garden, and I would be most happy to add another precious blossom! They are beautiful! You are truly blessed, my friend!
You have such a loverly family. What I find especially good is that your grandchildren are enjoying themselves as children should. There is so much pressure (at least in the USA) for children to grow up too quickly and have a very short childhood.
As ever,
Carol Suzanne
Thank you Michel, for your comment on my poem. You did not hurt me by what you wrote-we all have our different beliefs, but there is acceptance of differences.
i had a great time! thanks for the well-wishes! hope you have a good day.
-becky
Shannon 'Danger'... it's a secret!
Ok, not really. I just thought it sounded fun.
It is always such a pleasure to see the pictures of your beautiful grandchildren. A bouquet of flowers, what a wonderful way to describe those sweet faces. They all look so happy, when they are visiting at your home. What child would not flourish, when they know they are loved.
They appear to be having such a good time with the tricycles-oh to be a child again.
Where do you keep all those toys?
I enjoyed your blog, Michel!!!
Love
Edie Rose

I like ArchAngel Michael too* Your photos of Brittony only hasten my resolve to visit Carhaix and see the tower and archives before my friend sells it....I hope I can make it in time. I may have a bit of time since it is apparently not up for sale yet..but it sounds wounderful...An Old Abbey...with books and archives and best of all...it is in France!! Your photos of the scenic life in Brittony makes me nostolgic for something I have not yet seen..interesting..anticipatory response...You are a good photographer...((Wings))
Thank you for the story of your clock. What a beautiful one it is!! I am sure your family will also enjoy it long after you are no longer here!
Have a wonderful autumn day, Michel.
wow! what a bunch
my niece is expecting her first child in november...that will make 13 nieces/nephews for me...and 6 grand nieces/nephews
I am reviving the art of handwritten letters. Could you email me your address (I will keep it confidential) so that I could include you in my addresses?
Antoine et Manon vraiement resemblent leur grandpapa
Quoi pense-tu des problemes en France maintenant? Les immigrants qui faient les feus?
