                          St Valentine epilogue

Yesterday in the kitchen my wife gave me a kind kiss on my cheek to thank me about something I had done to help her . Our grandchild Nicolas , 6 years old , seeing us , told his grandmother : " Ah ! You are giving a kiss to Grand - Dad but this is not like Dad and Mum .Both them give each other kisses of love " !! ??!

  • haha that's cute!

  • :) children always have an interesting perspective on things :)

  • Vous n'aimiez pas assez ? Sheesh. Les gosses savent(connaissent) à beaucoup de ces jours.

  • C'est tellement mignione comment les enfants donnent un autre prespective a la vie...

  • Is a love kiss w/ the tongue? lol I'll have to experiment this topic.

  • - Oh I love this. Children can be soooo refreshing! And direct. I have two fun-ladies here who have their own opinions of life. And the boys... they did their part when they were 6!
I remember once when I had to go to a party, but felt ill and especially non-pretty at all. Felt like a skeleton in a heysack. When I enterd the room Nyo said: "WOW. You look a beautiful lady!!! The queen will be jealous if she sees you!!!!!"
    No wonder I felt energized!!!!

    - Haha....did xanga reset again?  I'm female....I'm sure of that!!!! Let's have another try to convince the xanga gods of that!!!!

    - http://www.xanga.com/a_lot_of_imbi.... you mean that site? It's a kind of silent haven. When the Imbi site is stuck or whatever, we can go there. Once in a while I pop up one of the pictures I've posted there when we had free premium last year.

    I hope you'll have a wonderful weekend!

  • How cute!  My daughter used to call those two way kisses "television kisses" because that is where she saw them most! LOL!  You and your wife have something special, I can tell--a love that lasts...

  • Out of the mouths of babes......

  • Michel, dont feel bad. My last blog was silly and meant nothing.

  • Ah, out of the mouths of babes. They catch so much.

  • Sweet! Children are direct in what they say...

  • I am sure the kiss your wife gave you was also a kiss of love, just different than the way he sees his parents kiss.

  • Out of the mouths of babes....Very cute.  Have a wonderful weekend, Michel.  Cheers, Neil

  • hahahaha That is so funny. Thanks for your comment, you made me smile.

  • sorry for not answering, and yes the story in my site is not only a little about our story, but it is exactly as it goes, exept of course for the fary detals i arrived to Belgium the day of the eclipse (11th of August 1999) and we went to Champagne where the eclise deepenst line was to watch it... and have been together ever since.

  • Now you must go back and correct that to a kiss of love!

  • Michel, if your grandson only knew!  The real reason behind the kiss was that Janine was soo happy that you learned to crochet, and even dice vegetables!

All the best my good friend.

  • You have a great family Fauquet.

  • How cute!!  I think about having grandkids running around the house....

    What's in bloom now, Michel??

  • ...such a cute story. Children are so innocently aware. Ah, to see as a child!
...Michel, you have such kind eyes. MuSe

  • How wonderful the moments! @-}-}----

  • Et maintenant, tu es malade. Tu as besoin d'un autre baiser! Je pense qu'il vaut mieux aller au moulin qu'au médecin. Mange une pomme chaque jour!
Je t'envoie tôt les photos de Vickie et "La machine extraordinaire".

    Santé!

  • Janine... she is the daughter of Johan's youngest sister. In august she will be 5.

The other three girls are daughters of Johan's oldest sister. Simone is 8, Jolanda will be 6 next month and Lisanne is going to be 5 in September. They also have a little brother, Martijn, who doesn't go to school yet. (he will be 2 in April)

  • I' am worried,Michel.

The children can not recognize a true love kiss.
He's mistaken,Michel, yours is a true love kiss.Explain that to him.
The other kisses are also love kisses.
    Confusing all that kissing.

P.S. The kissing was introduced by the Romains. They want to smell if the ladies had had a glass of wine(ladies could not drink wine) and to smell it the gave them
a kiss.( not a love kiss though)

  • very cute story...Kids are funny..

hope you had a great weekend...
