    ps : On December 11 I had a surgery at the spine called laminectomy . To walk was becoming increasingly difficult for me . I am better now but the complete recovery will need  3 or 4 months . Thanks for your thoughts ans prayers on my previous post.

    le 11 Décembre j'eus une opération chirurgicale à la colonne vertébrale appelée laminectomie . La marche me devenait de plus en plus pénible . Je suis mieux maintenant mais un rétablissement complet demandera 3 à 4 mois.

  • Last I checked you had not updated, so was happy to see this today.

    Best wishes for your recovery, mind what the doctor says. The hardest thing for me is no bending over. Wil scolds constantly. :-)

  • It takes time to recover, not climbing trees for a while,but in the summer you will be there again, in the garden among your fllowers and trees.

    • Thanks Carolyn . yes I am as well as possible the 18th day after the surgery . I walk everyday and this is improving . However ,as I said in the post, Time will be needed to work in the garden( lawn , hedges and vegetable garden) I have to take care of my spine .
      Slowly but surely is my motto

  • Michel, I am just now getting to see this earlier post. I am glad that you had a successful surgery. I pray that this will
    help you to be able to walk more easily, & that the pain will go away.

    RE: your last comment on my post "Winter Has Come" -- I know what you mean about the shivering even though it is warm inside the house.
    When it is cold and rainy, it makes me want to just cover up with a blanket, have
    some warm drink close at hand, and either read, do stuff on computer, or .... whatever. ;-)
