Vous vous souvenez que mon cousin René est venu  en mai 2013 avec sa femme Chantal réparer mon abri de jardin qui était en voie d ‘ écroulement . Naturellement,  j’avais peint aussitôt ce monument restauré

You remember my cousin René came home with his wife Chantal to restore my garden shed which was near to collapse.. It was in may 2013. Of course I had painted this restored “ work of art  “

Cependant, nous avons eu beaucoup de pluie cette année 2014 et  Samedi dernier, j'ai remarqué que l’ abri de jardin avait besoin  d'une nouvelle couche de peinture . Ce j'ai fait. Comme il était redevenu magnifiquement blanc !  De plus il m’ est venu subitement à l’ esprit  que l’ abri ressemblait un peu à une petite maison chinoise traditionnelle avec les coins du toit remontant vers le haut.! C'est à ce moment que ma femme Janine m'a dit que j'avais beaucoup d'imagination. Est-il vrai?

Pour renforcer mon impression, je regardais l’arbre croissant derrière la cabane? Connaissez-vous le nom de l'arbre? Il s'agit d'un Sophora. Et savez-vous son  nom français? Sophora ou arbre des pagodes! Ne pensez vous pas que tout cela fait un peu chinois?  N'est pas une bonne chose de savoir que dans mon potager il ya un petit bâtiment qui rappelle la vieille et riche civilisation chinoise?

Ah!Imagination !

A Chinese traditional shelter in my veggie-garden?? ( and the Sophora behind). October 6,2014

   However we have had a lot of rain this year 2014 and on last Saturday I noticed the shed needed a new coat of paint and I made it. How beautifully white it was become again ! And more It seemed to me  that the  small shelter  looked somewhat like a little Chinese traditional house with the sweeping curvature that rises the corners of the roof! This is at this moment my wife Janine told me I had very much imagination. Is it true ?

    To reinforce my impression, I looked at the  tree growing behind the shed? Do you know the name of the tree ? It is a Sophora . And do you know the French name?  Sophora or Pagoda tree !  Do not you think that all of this is a bit Chinese ? is not a good thing to know in my veggie garden there is a small building that recalls the old and rich Chinese civilization?

Ah! Imagination!

Pour plaire à quelques lecteurs qui auraient plutôt vu l' abri de jardin peint en rouge pour paraître un peu plus chinois, j' ai ajouté un peu de rouge.

Je précise à l' un de mes lecteurs que l' aspect chinois existe principalement dans mon imagination en me référant à l" architecture traditionnelle. L 'imagination n' est-elle pas une belle qualité d ' esprit?

Comme le philosophe Descartes disait je pense que l' abri a un air chinois donc il est chinois. Cela est une extension un peu tordu du fameux "Cogito ergo sum" ,je pense donc je suis. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cogito_ergo_sum

In order to please to some of my readers who would see my shed rather  painted in red to be a bit more chinese , I added some red !
I specify to one of my readers , the chinese look exists mainly in my imagination in refering to the tradition. Is not the imagination a great quality of mind ?
