England to the rescue .
L’ Angleterre à la rescousse
England to the rescue
English version below the photos
At the end of May, our youngest daughter Isabelle who lives in Kent (England ) came here with her two children : Sarah and Joe . As soon as they were arrived they ran to the veggie garden to fight the weeds with my wife Janine . while I played with the lawn mower . I add: Isabelle succeeded to repair the lawn mower which did not work, all of a sudden. That was a pleasure to see them work with heart .
It was the same when our son Pierre came recently to trim the hedge of our front yard .
And also, after Easter on April 28 , our daughter Véronique and her daughter Clara working fiercely in the veggie garden, digging a ground hard like rock or planting potatoes ( Clara with Manon and Antoine who were at home for some days )

Or again our oldest daughter Carole ( the duchess) helping Janine to the cooking at Easter Day.
It is a pleasure to us to have caring children who come when they can( it is not always possible for all at any time ) to see us and bring help. We are grateful

The prettiest flowers in your garden are the children! I love the red hair!! You are blessed to have children who come to help out - it is good that the mower was so easily repaired!
RYC ; yes it always nice to see children in the garden . As you say they are the best flowers
The mower's belt transmisssion was out from the two pulleys . I knew how to put it correctly but thin fingers were needed to reach one of the two pulleys. Isabelle did perfectly the work.
What a true blessing. How many children do you have? My oldest daughter is also named Carol... different in spelling.
I like the way the dog is taking interest in Isabelle and her work on the lawn mower.
We got six children .
You are blessed with such a wonderful family.
like you I am blessed with loving, caring children who come to visit and to help.
I am so grateful for them.
Heart warming. Even the dog helps!
That is very nice to see, Michel. Happy for you.

How nice that you have so many children to help you with the gardening! It seems like you have a large one that requires lots of work and help. I hope you reap the benefits with lots of vegetables and pretty flowers.
TY so very much for your comment on the photo of TD eaton clam chowder.
Fighting weeds and playing with the lawnmower, sounds like a lot of work!
I think work is good for our souls, isn't it? We reap the benefits from our gardens too. Blessings to you and a good week too!
You are blessed. It's refreshing to see young people who know how to work.

It's always a blessing, to have your children around even if it be for a short while. I am glad you all had such a good reunion. Glad the lawn mower is fixed.
Caring children are indeed wonderful blessings!! and I think they know how much you love your garden and they love to make you happy!! <3
RYC: yes, I think you are right!! <3
You are so blessed to have children to help.
ryc: the privacy fence is red cedar and is allowed to age naturally. We do not paint or stain as that is just too much for us to do. Not allowed to paint them without HOA telling you what color and I don't want their brown.
Michel it is wonderful that your children are able to help you. You and your wife have raised a wonderful family. Our grand daughter from California has been visiting us so we have been very busy. Love , Barbara
Hi, Michel. I would have gotten back to you sooner, but we were out of town. My WordPress email is: whyzat.wordpress.com

Great post, love the photos.
Your children have such wonderful memories of their childhood and thus you are receiving the love you gave them. The posts of your children are my favorite of your posts!
You obviously raised wonderful children who help when they come home. A very beautiful and industrious family.
