A day in the countryside.( 18 Mars 2014)

Les travaux préparatoires bruyants au bout du jardin continuant C'EST Fait Avec plaisir Que Nous Avons Accepté l 'invitation de Notre fille ainée Carole (la duchesse) et de fils chevalier serviteur Thierry d'aller passer Une journée chez EUX. ILS aiment PEU non le jardinage MAIS CE SONT Leur passion les chevaux et élevage Leur. L'après Le repas JE SUIS Allé voir-Les Chevaux et pri QUELQUES les photos.

   The noisy works beyond the garden are continuing so this is with pleasure we accepted the invitation from our oldest daughter ,Carole, aka the Duchess and her Knight Thierry to go to their home on March 2. . they love a little the gardening but what they love is the horse breeding. So after the meal I went to see  the horses and took some photos;

 

Thierry conduits Deux Chevaux Blancs arabo-boulonnais (ILS ailent la boue ) se la grange Vers un Vaste enclos Où ILS peuvent courir et sauter Librement

 Thierry leads two white arabo-boulonnais  horses ( they love the mud J )  from the barn to the place  where they can run and jump freely

Le plaisir d 'être Libres.

The joy to be free.

 

 

 

Vous rapide avez pu voir sur les Deuxième photo Deux chevaux jeune préposé à la Clôture. ILS attendaient Leur Nourriture. Thierry les conduisit à Leur écurie et l'après QUELQUES amicales caresse il eurent Leur foin.

You can see at the first photos two young hoses that are waiting at the fence . They were  waiting  for their  food. Thierry  took them to their stall and after some friendly pats they got their hay

Afterwards   .two other horses enjoyed a shower of legs and shoes :they needed to be cleaned
Après quoi deux autres chevaux apprécièrent une douche de Leur pattes et sabots. Ils avaient besoin d' être nettoyés .

 

 

Meanwhile two golden retrievers stood peacefully at the gate but always  well on guard.

Pendant ce temps deux golden retrievers se tenaient paisiblement à la barrière mais toujours en éveil.

 

 

 

 

At the end  it became rather cold outside and we enjoyed the flames and the warmth of a good wood stove .
A la fin le temps devenant assez froid nous avons apprecie les flammes et la chaleur d'un bon feu à bois feu à bois

 

Un jour Comme CELA Nous changea de la routine. merci Carole et Thierry

A day like that changed really us of our daily  routine.Thanks Carole et Thierry.

Vive le printemps
                                                                                          Glorious springtime.

 Ce 20 mars,  c’ est le printemps qui commence et le jardin est en fête . Les plantes vivaces forment des constellations de couleur brillante un peu partout. Comme il est agréable de se promener dans la pelouse.  Laissez moi vous racontez cette pelouse qui ressemble à un jardin étoilé .

On this   March 20th,  the spring begins and the garden is celebrating this day. Perennials form constellations of bright color everywhere. As it is pleasant to walk in the lawn. Let me tell you this lawn that looks like a starry garden.

     Tout d’ abord voici la voie lactée formé d’une multitude de Pâquerettes
At first we see the Milky Way is formed by a lot of daisies

    Voici une vue rapprochée de ces pâquerettes  . Ne ressemblent –elles pas à des étoiles ?
                   Here is a closer view of the daisies . Do not they look like stars ?

Les primevères sont partout et elles peignent la pelouse de multiples couleurs
        Primroses are everywhere and they paint the lawn multiple colors.

Les ficaires forment aussi un tapis d’or étoilé pour les jacinthes bleus qui sont là d’année en année.
Lesser Celandine (Ficaria verna) also form a starry golden  carpet for bluebells which are there from year to year

Le Narcisse étale sa  beauté renommée
Narcissus shows its renowned beauty

Le cognassier du japon est situé dans notre entrée et on ne se lasse jamais d’ en admirer les fleurs
Chaenomeles japonica ( japanese quince)  is a shrub standing   on the edges of our driveway. Never tired to look at its bloom

Et  enfin,  voici le forsythia , le soleil de jardin dans sa splendeur.
And finally, here is the forsythia, the sun of the garden in its glory.

 

Si  je le pouvais , face à un tel magnifique spectacle offert par Dame Nature je sauterais comme le cheval  ci dessus ( seconde photo).  Ivre de beauté.

 

If I could in front such a splendid show offered by  Lady Nature I would jump like the white horse above ( second picture ). Drunk with beauty.
