Janine a eu l'occasion de voir les premiers pas d’Yris, la fille jumelle, jeudi dernier. Comme vous pouvez le voir, elle gère bien sa marche et elle a des étincelles dans les yeux.
Son père Jean-Baptiste est étonné de regarder son bon équilibre debout sur le canapé.

Janine got the opportunity to see the first steps of Yris, the girl twin, last Thursday . As you can see she manages well her walk and she has sparks in the eyes.
Her father Jean-Baptiste is amazed at watching her good balance up on the couchSon frère Raphaël marche aussi, mais pas seul. Il se lève, mais hésite à se lancer seul à marcher à travers la pièce. Il pense que la posture à quatre pattes est plus stable! Mais soyez patients, bientôt il va marcher vers la porte pour vous accueillir.
Et ne dit-on pas que les filles sont plus vives et plus précoces que les garçons? Hum!

He stands up but is hesitant to launch himself alone to walk through the room. He thinks the posture on four legs is more stable!!! But be patient, soon he will walk to the door to welcome you.
And do we not say the girls are more vivid and precocious than the boys? Hum!

Beautiful twins. Perhaps Yris is a little thinner than Raphael? My daughter Saadia was very chubby when she was born and at thirteen months, could hardly stand. She finally started walking close to 14 months.
They are both so sweet! One of mine started walking at 10 months. 2 of them, not until 16 mo.s. The others were about a year. Such a busy fun age.
They grow up so quickly! It is time now to start running to keep up with them!
Walking already! It seems just yesterday they were newborn babies - so tiny! They are growing up fast and learning about the world! How wonderful Janine was there for those first steps!!
They're so sweet! My boy started walking at ten months on the day. Those are still my favorite photos of him.
They are almost the same age as our grandniece niece Leah.
Beware, when the little ones learn to walk, the adults will have to run.

People have told me that we spend the first year of a child's life waiting for them to walk and talk. Then, the rest of their childhood, we are constantly asking them to sit down and hush up!

What a joyful post! The babies are beautiful, my kids all started walking about 12 months, then they started climbing! I think I stayed in a constant state of anxiety for all their toddler years, I am much more relaxed with the grandchildren...by the way our 4th granddaughter is due in March and our first Great Grandson is due in February...Life is So Very Good! ilym

RYC actually, Michel, WordPress has many problems, too. It's not like old Xanga, that's for sure. I think some people went there just because they were so disgusted by the whole money thing.
Yes, my doctor is an endocrinologist. I've started taking the medication, but it can take a few weeks to take effect. We'll see what happens!

RYC: Yes, I don't know what it is about Xanga that makes it seem so community-like but it's nice.
I don't feel as alone on WordPress as I did in the beginning. All of my "followers" are old Xangans and, frankly, it's easier to exchange thoughts there because you get notified of replies to comments. I do feel more comfortable here, though.
Today they are learning to walk, and soon they will be running!
