  • The language of the eyes./and if you add a smile....

             Le langage des yeux

    le language of the eyes.

I think it is obvious to say there is a language of the eyes . The way you look at something or someone  is meaningful and may say  what you feel or what you are thinking of ..I chose among our  latest photos, the ones that may be a good illustration

et pas une minicouche de Nutelle 5 Nov 2012

Et pas une minicouche . le délice est dans ses yeux .
And not a thin layer . We guess the delight in her sight .

Je suis persuadé que beaucoup de mes lecteurs trouveront d'autres exemples de regards significatifs : amour , tendresse, emotion, colère ,peur , attention, méditation, reflexion etc...

I am sure many of my readers will find other examples of meaningful  looks : love, tenderness, emotion , anger , fear, meditation, attention reflection etc

  • Mornin Glorie...even the eyes of the golden retrievers show emotion :heartbeat: ilym

  • All the pictures speak volumes of love...:heartbeat: :heartbeat:.... Thank you for sharing them :)

  • Very true. Baby's eyes and puppy breath... wonders of this world! :) :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

  • Very true, and sweet. We need sweetnes in our lives---and I don't mean just Nutella, though I could go for some right now!

  • Pets and ladies are popular subject for the ladies. I am glad I am not angered today and having a calm day.

It will take a while for you to be a great grandfather but being a grandfather several times over is enough for you.

  • your family is blessed with a lot of love then.

  • It is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul! I do think it is true!

  • La regarde fréquemment communique plus qu’un mot. Les sourires dans les photos racontent une belle histoire de contentement et affection.

  • These are some really great looks!

  • I am starting to read the French first and actually understanding the gist before I read the English version. Great pics! Great looks!

  • "Speak to me with thine eyes..."

  • Children and animals are sometimes the best subjects for that; so many adults have learned to shield themselves, they often don't let their true selves look outward.

  • Your blogs always catch my attention. Always! Thank you Michel, for soothing most of my senses every time I visit.

  • A very senstive and thoughtful post. We say so much with our eyes...Not a word from our mouth but our eyes can say it all.

Eyes are the windows of the soul.

I always ponder what beautiful spiritual and mental development happens when the newborn gazes into his/her mother's eyes. I remember looking into our own children's eyes and know that it was the beginning of a spiritual bonding.

  • I have a picture of me and the 2 biggest boys when they were little and that's so precious because they were both looking up at me. Thank you for reminding me of that and thank you for sharing your family with US.

  • Two beautiful grand children and a wise, wonderful and loving grandmother and grandfather. For this part, life is good! :heartbeat:

  • I have always looked at people's eyes. They speak of the character.

  • I'm always happy to see the pictures you post when I come here .. you are such a wonderfully interesting man, Michel with a lovely, lovely wife and family.     I'm proud to call you friend.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog the other day!    I got your comment and I answered it right there on my blog but then I got to thinking that you might not have gotten notice of the comment there for you ... I don't know if you got one or not, did you?

I'm still learning how to do things at WordPress but I really like it.    Think I would like it better if I knew what I was doing.   Ha!   Ha!     I am going to start trying to re-design the blog to the way that I want it so that will keep me busy in trying to figure out what it is that I'm doing.   : )

Have a nice day and give my love to Janine.

    Love,

     Debi

P.S.   Please let me know if you got a notice in your email that I answered your comment on my blog because if you didn't, I want to try and figure out a way to set that feature up there.    Thanks!

  • I must agree, the eyes aften say much about what we are thinking. It is said that the eyes are the windows to our souls.

I love the pictures, Michel! I hope you and your family have a lovely weekend! Best regards....

  • Here's to looking at you and yours! :]

  • Bonsoir Michel, tes photos sont toujours très attendrissantes, comme tes commentaires.
Je t'ai écrit quelques mots sur ta page des fleurs d'automne.

    Ciao!

  • I love the look on babys face as he is trying to lift his head to see Mama. Love the delight and happiness in your daughter, Caroles, face as she looks at her beautiful dogs. I watched the eyes of my oldest Grand daughter when she passed her drivers test and her Dad, (my son) handed her the keys to the car he bought as a surprise for her.
    Wonderful post Michel.

  • what a lovely adorable post :3 such a sweet way to portray family love :)

  • So true, Michel, the eyes can convey so very much!   :wha:    :nono: :giggle:  :littlekiss:  :goodjob:

  • Good observations of peoples expressions. :sunny:

  • You are one of the beautiful people Michel. It is quite easy to be so when one is surrounded by beauty, for beauty begets beauty.

May God's love continue to be with you and your loved ones.

    john

  • Very nice. I use Nutella the same way I was amused by the sign on the establishment. For many years there was a pub/eatery here called "The White Horse."

  •

  • c'est trés vrais. les yeux sont le fenêtres de l'âme, n'est pas.

  • Eyes are like the windows of the soul (someone must have said that).
The photos give a very clear explanation of what you mean by that.
Children have innocent souls and they eyes are shining with that beauty that comes from inside.

  • RYC: Yes, you can! I can't hear that enough! :)

  • The eyes say it all. They really are the windows to the soul.

  • In the darkest night, a childs smile can light up a heart.  Beautiful children and a beautiful way to represent your point.

  • Beautiful post indeed. I often look into a persons eyes along with expressions on their face to decide how I feel about them.

  •  Answer to  alterEGGO   above:You should post that picture of you and your two little kids looking at you .

  • I love the photo of the two of you!

  • Janine is beautiful

  • Hi Michel, you do have a beautiful family which keeps expanding. That is so sweet. Wow, Janine seems to have been quite a stunner back in the day. So you had good eyes to have sworned her..

  • I love the beautiful photos you added at the end.

  • I love your family. Janine was (and still is) very beautiful.

  • LOVE Janine's 1957 photo, such a sweet look on her face!

  • RYC: The Solar City tower is the renewable hydrosource that will power the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.  The first zero carbon footprint olympics.  I think that we can do a smaller version as an artifical hydro source.  In the 30's, Tennesee did they hydropower idea and it saved the region from the depression.  I think if it isn't possible to do it naturally, then we use our resources to create the idea.  It's cheaper than nuclear and safer too.  Long run, cheaper than coal as well.

  • Now those are beautiful smiles:)

  • Ty so very much for your birthday wishes to TD and he says Ty also.

  • I can not get the recommned to work on your site...sorry!

  • Oh yes, precious memories. I've never tasted Nutella. I wonder if it's like peanut butter? Blessings to you and your Janine. Love the old picture of her. Have a great week, Michel!

  • Yes, the eyes say it all, and a smile changes everything!  You saved the best for last with your 1957 photo of your sweet Janine!

  • Oh look at the way you were looking at Janine. I totally agree with your concept of 'le langage des yeux'.

  • RE: Not liking walmart-neither do I but the closest shopping center other than Walmart is a 150 mile round trip from us. We are out in the sticks.

  • The photo of Janine in 1957 - Wonderful! She was speaking volumes to the eyes behind the lens!

  • Some moments are too precious that just couldn't be expressed in words. A look, a gesture and an expression say a lot.

  • You asked me at my blog if there are many Islamic folks here in the United States. One anti moslem politician Allen West was not re elected.

There are Mosques all over in the United States even though a few were protested especially a Islamic meeting place near the site of the Twin Towers (site of 9/11)

One military officer who was Islamic when nuts and killed some people but generally there is no big hate towards Islamic practices.

  • :sunny:Your photos are wonderful! Special moments captured forever! Moments that can be passed on to another generation. We all go forward with our eyes wide open to see the future; but, we look back to see the hope and love that helps us to see life clearer. :heartbeat:

    ~ thoughts through my looking-glass~

  • One can see what attracted you to your lovely wife. :)

  • Answer to  dingdongdingbat  ; It is the same for me . I can only "rec " some sites and not all the sites I visit . Probably I use an ancient Xanga system !!

  • Aww....so beautiful Michel!  Love your posts, and pics!  Sorry I was gone so long.

I was working hard, but then, caught the flue, and just not feeling so well.   I am alright,

thank you for thinking of me.   R. Hood

  • I love all the smiles - and the Nutella - lol.

  • :sunny:You have such a lovely family, Michel. Thank you for sharing the pictures. Janine is lovely!

  • I think that if you click when the video show the message, it sends you to the you tube site and you listen to the song. ( You don't have too)
The mushroom should be Lepiota Aspera. Not sure if it is edible. It is very close to the Amanite(Danger),

  • RYC: It is my pleasure, Michel!

I enjoyed the additional pictures you have provided here.

Best wishes to you and the family!

  • What a sweet post. Love the older pictures of you and Janine. Wish I could figure out how to get pictures on Xanga again. I don't know why it stopped letting me do that.

  • RYC - The taxing of things, once started, never ends, does it? We find ways to cut expenses and they find ways to tax thin air it seems. Palm oil isn't good for us, huh? Kind of scary because who determines what's good for us or not?

    Hope your day is wonderful!

  • So nice to see your photos - you are right about expressions. You use more muscles smiling than frowning so it is always easier to smile

  • Ty so very much for your comment on the bling cell phone case my son sent me and yes, I am blessed by his love.

  • Ici en passant, un sourire virtuel vous souhaitant à tous un très/très bon weekend! :sunny:
    Amitiés de Nidau :heartbeat:

  • Lovely photos of all those eyes, our eyes always portray our feelings,

  • Re your comment : Thank you so much for leaving me the link to The  Last Rose Of Summer" It was beautiful--I loved it ! Now I will think of the my last rose a different way !

  • Thanks for the photos and the thoughts. I do believe the eyes have their own language. It has been said that "eyes are window to the soul". Re: Smiles - that reminds me that it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile, according to another quote. That should make it easier to smile. Just putting a smile on ones face can make a person feel better. RYC: I think your idea for designating one day has merit, but it could be difficult to get every nation united on it. ~~Blessings & Cheers

  • Happy parents make Happy children, Janine and you have made a beautifully happy family :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: ilym

  • RYC: actually, that is not my dog, I do not have a pet. That is a picture of the dog we were watching over Thanksgiving. She is my daughter's boyfriend's dog, that I posted about just previously. She is the "Miracle Puppy" that was deathly ill but thankfully recovered. People wanted a picture, so I tried to find a cute one!

  • Gorgeous family.

And unfortunately, Nutella is one of those things that you are supposed to spread a "light" layer of, that I will eat out of the jar with a spoon on occasion. :p

  • This is the right blog for anybody who desires to find out about this topic. You realize a lot it’s virtually exhausting to argue with you (not that I truly would want…Ha-ha). You undoubtedly put a new spin on a topic that’s been written about for years. Great stuff, just nice!
