Ma fille aînée Carole ,infirmière , est aussi une passionnée de chevaux . Elle m’ écrit :

« Samedi dernierj ai fait 66 kms avec Upsilon , son cheval arabe alezan, près d’ Arras en Artois .On a fait environ 5h de cheval et avons tourné à 13,3 kms/ h. Je suis très fiere de mon cheval «
Elle aime se promener à cheval dans les plaines et les collines d’Artois ou dans les montagnes des Vosges , près de l’ Allemagne .
J’ aurais aimé montrer ici  une photo d’une xangane  @judyrutrider qui partage la même passion mais elle n’ avait pas de photos m' a-t-elle écrit , puisque ‘elle chevauche seule, les montagnes en Amérique

Ces dames pourraient faire partie du dernier régiment de cavalerie française , celui de la Garde républicaine de Paris fondée par Napoléon.

My oldest daughter Carol, a nurse, is also passionate about horses. She wrote to me lately:

"Last Saturday I made a ride of 66 kms long ( 41 miles) with Upsilon, her Arabian chestnut horse, near Arras during 5 hours .. I am very proud of my horse "

She loves to be horseback and have a ride among the plains and the hills of Artois, a province of Northern France and sometimes mountains ( Vosges near Germany )

I would have loved to show here a photo of a xanganfriend   @judyrutrider who shares the same passion but she had not any photo since she rides alone horseback in the montains in America.

Those ladies could be in the last regiment of cavalry of  France , the one of the Republican Guard of Paris  , founded by Napoleon .

  Le cheval n' est pas seument un animal voué au travail , aux courses ou aux batailles . C ' est aussi un artiste
 J ' ai toujours eu un coup de coeur pour la video ci-dessous postée par une amie de Xanga @Kathy, où elle chevauche dans son arêne le 1er Janvier de cette année. Je suis fasciné par les style et l'élégance mais aussi  par l' harmonieuse unité entre le cheval et la cavalière. Le movement est fluide et souple ; du grand art!

 Horse is not only a animal for work, race or battles , he is also an artist.
 I always have been fond of this video above posted by a Xanga Friend , @Kathy, riding her horse in her arena the first of January of this year . I was fascinated by the style and the elegance and also by the harmonious unity between the horse and the rider . The movement is fluid and flexible :  a grand art !

 Le cheval est aussi un danseur. Qu'y a-t-il de plus fascinant que ce groupe de chevaux Lippizan dansant la polka à l' école d'équitation de Vienne en Autriche . Cette école a été fondée par l' Empereur d'Autriche au XVII ème siècle. Voir la video ci-dessous . L ' idée de montrer ceci m'  été fournie par une autre amie de Xanga qui s ' en va prochainement en Slovénie pour voir ces fameux étalons Lippizan.

 The horse is also a dancer . What is more admirable than the group of lippizaner horses dancing the polka at the Spanish  Riding School of Vienna in Austria . This school has been founded by the Emperor of Austria in the XVIIth century . See the video above .  The idea to show this has been given to me in a comment by a friend who is going to Slovenia nextly to see those famous Lipizzaner stallions .
