La chorale dont je fais partie comme ténor a donné 3 concerts de Noël avec des chants de tous les pays et de tous les temps . J ' ai aimé ce célèbre carol anglais , si simple et si beau .
I sing as a tenor in a choir that produced 3 Christmas concerts lately with songs coming from all countries and all times . I liked this English Christmas carol , so simple and so beautiful .

1 ) I had no Internet since December 12 so my forced silence . Sorry .Thanks for your patience .
2) The chemo has not started for my daughter in law Marina because the nature of her cancer is complex . Today , December 21 , she has an appointment at the best cancer hospital in France ( Villejuif) near Paris . We hope a decision .
La chimio de Marina n ' a pas commencé parce que la nature de son cancer est complexe . Aujourd ' hui , Jeudi 21 , elle est en rendez-vous dans le plus grand hôpital de France concernant le cancer ( Villejuif ) . Nous espérons qu 'une décision sera prise .

Blessings to you this Christmas season. I love the nativity scenes. I think I have 3 set up in my house. I also have a good friend facing chemo this season with a very complex type of cancer. He is at M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX, which is one of our top cancer treatment centers.
I like that song, too. I have missed you and wondered about you! Glad that you are back. I, too, will be praying for Marina and your entire family. I hope you have a blessed Christmas.

That is a lovely carol. It is one of my favorites because it is one of the first carols I ever learned, and I remember singing it in Sunday school, being very proud that I remembered all of the words.

Sorry you have had no computer. I do hope they can do something for your D>I>L> but it is one of those things I am afraid, sometimes it works others not, trouble is the young ones seem to suffer it more than the oldies. My students sang The Cradle Song when we went caroling at the local nursing home. The residents really enjoyed it. I'm sorry to hear about Marina. I pray that there is good news from the cancer hospital today. Have a blessed Christmas.
Yes, I asked prayers for you today and here you are! I am glad. Even if you just put one word up "Okay" I would have been happy, but you have given us a lovely picture of your Nativity Scene. It reminds me of my set, but alas, it has been shaken and battered with all the moves. I will work at getting a new one.
I am glad to hear that Marina is in the best hospital. So many things to test and re-test. I do not have the patience for waiting. I think on that and realize that it will all be in God's timing, not mine.

It's good to hear from you. I thought you might be very busy with the Christmas choir music and the concern over you DIL. I have been thinking about all of you and praying for you. Please keep us posted. We took a trip yesterday from Florida to Indiana to be with family. We drove 1100 miles straight through and the weather was cool and rainy. We're tired today but happy to be with family.

Hello! I've been missing for a while too. My pastor told this silly joke, I will share with you.
A little boy was waiting for a Christmas present - a bicycle. He checked the Christmas tree for a few days before Christmas and still there was no sign of the bicycle. Finally, he went to the nativity display in the living room and took the statue of Mary. He placed her in a shoe box and then under his bed. After that he knelt by the bed and prayed... "Jesus if you ever want to see your mother again, give me the bicycle!"

glad you are in the same boat as i am! we have to come to starbucks for internet service!!! we disconnected our phone line when we went to beijing and it's been a big hassle dealing with the phone company and getting internet service again! arrrgh! still have none at home. well, at least our phone service works since yesterday!

Avant de t'envoyer mes souhaits pour la Noël j'ai écouté la musique de la carole dont tu as écrit, elle est très douce. La photo aussi est très belle et émouvante. C'est beau de chanter les chants de Noël, ça nous rapproche un peu aux anges qui étaient à Bethleem il y a 2000 ans (et plus!).
Je suis contente que Marine a été visitée à Villejuif, cet hôpital est fort bien connu même ici.
Si l'on peut faire quelque chose, ils le feront. Vous ne pouviez trouver de mieux.
Espérons! et continuons avec les prières - le petit Jésus ou sa Sainte Mère devront bien faire quelque chose, non?

I sing alto in a choir, and Sunday night I'm singing that carol as a solo! Small world! We had a nativity set much like yours. I'll have to ask my sister if she knows what happened to it. I pray your daughter-in-law will be able to start her chemo soon.

Ah, Michel, the advancement in cancer care has been tremendous and from all I have read, you have some of the most intensive research in that field as well as fine hospitals. I feel she will have good news and I am sending my angels to abide by her.

We had a children's choir at mass and they sang "Away in a Manger"!!! Lovely. At Christmas mass they lowered the lights just before we left and it brought tears to my eyes. It was as if the Holy Family were at peace in the manger!
