   Hier,  Mardi 3 Décembre c ‘ était le 7…ème anniversaire de Janine . Nous fûmes dans un restaurant à 13 h environ pour un bon repas accompagné de Champagne et de Bordeaux . J’ai raté ma photo car les joues de Janine étaient rouges ( à cause, bien sûr,  des lumières mal placées et trop fortes ). Après quoi nous avons pris un bon bol d’air en nous promenant dans le marché de Noël et dans les halles où je pris la photos du siècle, ci-dessous . Bon anniversaire, Janine!

   Yesterday ,  December 3, it was  Janine 7…th .birthday . We were at the restaurant in Amiens Centre around 1h pm for a good meal with champagne and wine of Bordeaux . I missed my photo at the restaurant as Janine had red cheeks ( because the  misplaced lights  of course ;-) ). Afterwards we took a bowl of good air in strolling among the Christmas market and into the halles  ( a permanent market of fresh produces ) where I took the photo of this century above ! Happy birthday,Janine !

Dimanche  dernier après-midi nous sommes allés à l’ hôpital de Boulogne à 110 km d’Amiens pour voir notre fille aînée Carole ( mieux connue sous le nom de la Duchesse ) qui avait eu une opération  de la thyroïde deux jours avant.. La thyroïde a été complètement enlevée. L’opération s’est bien passée mais Carole a perdu du poids et des forces à cause de son hyperthyroïdie. Maintenant les choses vont s’améliorer progressivement . La photo ci-dessous montre  la Duchesse dans son lit « ducal » à l’ hôpital avec son chevalier servant Thierry D.  Elle est rentrée à la maison ce hier Mardi après-midi . Elle a accepté d’être prise en photo parce qu’elle est gentille. Bientôt je la photographierai sur son cheval.

  Last Sunday in the afternoon we went to the hospital of Boulogne sur mer, 62 miles far from Amiens to visit our oldest daughter Carole ( better known with the name of the Duchess ) who got surgery of the thyroid two days before . The thyroid has been removed . It was time . The surgery went well but Carole lost weight and feels weak , but  this was due to the over active thyroid.. Now all of the things will be improving progressively. Here is above the duchess in her “ducal” bed at the hospital with her knight Thierry D. She went back her home yesterday Tuesday in the afternoon. She agreed to be pictured as she is kind. Soon I will picture her being  horseback.
