La semaine dernière nous avons eu la visite de notre petite-fille aînée, Julie, fille de la «duchesse » Carole. Julie a 26 ans et est professeur agrégé dans l’Enseignement secondaire .
Last week we got the visit of our oldest grandchild, Julie, “Duchess” Carole's daughter.
Julie is 26 and is a high ranked teacher in the secondary school. ( Photo above taken in October 2013 by Michel Fauquet)La même semaine, nous sommes allés rendre visite à notre dernier enfant, Jean-Baptiste (39) et son épouse Melody et nous avons revu les jumeaux Raphaël et Yris. Voici deux photos d'eux prises en Octobre dernier. Ils ont 14 mois.
Ainsi, entre Julie et les jumeaux, il y a 25 ans, un quart de siècle. Nous avons rencontré chacun d'eux au cours de la même semaine. Ceci est plutôt impressionnant. Au total, nous avons 15 petits-enfants venant de 6 enfants.
Ah! Les grandes familles!

The same week we went for a visit at our youngest son Jean-Baptiste (39) and his wife Melody and we saw again the twins Raphaël and Yris . Here are two photos of them taken in last October . they are 14 month old ;
So between Julie and the twins in time there are 25 years , a quarter of century. we met all of them during the same week . This is rather impressing. At the total we have 15 grand children coming from 6 children .

I always say " Happy People Make Happy People" you and Janine have done a wonderful job!!! Julie is just a year younger than my twins, isn't it rewarding to have them be successful in their careers at such an early age? The twins are so beautiful they should be in the movies, or at least commercials! ilym

My dear friend Michel, I am back again. . . and what a delightful "home-coming"! You have such a beautiful family! Julie is so pretty, and to also be a high-ranked teacher -- congratulations to her, and to her proud parents and grandparents.
Your son and daughter-in-law have such cute twins... I'm sure that Raphael and Yris keep them very busy. How is the name Yris pronounced? That is a new name to me.

All 3 of them are beautiful! We also have 15 grandchildren, plus 6 great-grandchildren.
We still do not have any great grand children.

My oldest cousin was born in 1968 and the youngest in 1986 (I think? Somewhere around that time). Also some of my cousins have kids now, the youngest is two. And my cousin born in '68 has a kid who was born around the same time as my youngest cousin, so they are good friends.
This is what happens when you have so many kids and a big family. My mom's oldest sibling is 15 years older than her youngest.
The twins are wonderful! I especially liked the photo with Raphael smiling up at the camera! Too cute!

Marilynn, Perhaps are you able to comment from facebook ?? But I cannot use facebook anymore because I will be overwhelmed by the comments and "I like " and I cannot answer ( I tried in the past and I could not face xanga and facebook ). I found also a "grave site " but they ask to log in with password but I have so many passwords !!

RYC: thanks you for the words on our autumn. Regarding my son in law, he finishes his radiation tomorrow. He continues to have pain, but it is not unbearable. I wish it would be gone completely so he can feel normal again. Thanks for asking Michel.
