A SONG DEDICATED
A song dedicated
Exceptionally I post a song dedicated to a reader and friend: .fwren
Some years ago, she had on her site a musical background who made me shivering so much it was deeply beautiful . I had no idea of what it was, I do not understand English spoken by lack of practice, but the music made me in resonance. I asked her what was this song and she sent me a link via xanga message
Since the relaunch of Xanga I had a site without any sidebar . At the beginning I did not take care but progressively I started to find weird my writing was running along all the width of the screen of my computer and I noticed I was almost alone without sidebar and without profil picture. I had no clue about the process since on the ancient xanga all of this was automatically provided.
A Canadian reader gave me in a comment very precise advices and Frwen too . They were the same . I worked, worked again, and still worked from last Saturday to Monday evening for nothing. I was exhausted and near to give up despite the repeated helpful comments from Frwen . Finally seeing my site was always unchanged she suggested me to ask Xanga help . I write a message and Fwren also in my behalf to reinforce. In the afternoon I got a kind answer from xanga with promise to check my site . And today I found a wonderful side bar with all of its widgets .. Happy and grateful!.
How to say thanks to Fwren ? I thought of this song which is a gospel . The words are written. They express Christian faith but most of them may be agreed by all good willing people. The music is wonderful and so for the voices. So this video is my thanks to fwren
I thanks also Xanga for the kindness and the speed of the repair.
You see, those are things like this that lead me to not leave Xanga . I have here many true friends in mind for long , such Gail Garret who offered to me a charcoal of my grand daughter in 2002/2003, Aloysus son and Anne-Marie who sent to me a painting graciously, Notforpropher to rid my computer of a hacker many years ago etc...and how many who encouraged me or prayed for my family during the trials times . I have always in my mind those who are gone in heaven and who considered me like a true and confident friend .

Although Xanga us very different and frustrating I would miss you Frank and many others if I left.....
I always enjoy your pictures and your posts and the love in your comments to not just me but to all of us you are a lovely caring man
RYC dancing video. I just love those old Fred Astaire and Gene Kelley movies. They make all that dancing look easy!
You got a reply from the Xanga people? I didn't even know that they were still around. I thought that we were on our own. I'm glad that you solved your problem. There don't seem to be many of us left on Xanga, but I hate to only use WordPress, because There are Xangans here, like you, that I would very much miss.
yes, xanga team of tech exists and they are kind, fast and efficient . Thanks to them
that was beautiful Michel, and thanks to fwren and the xanga team also. Sometimes we have to work a little harder to get what we need, I do find what I need here. ilym
That is a beautiful song. I believe the tune is very old. I have heard different words to it.

I'm so glad your friend helped you get things straightened out! I'm still trying to figure out some things on my site. Ha. I am such a computer-dweeb sometimes!

So glad we each have found such good friends here on xanga. It is the small things in life that bring simple joy.
The song is beautiful.
Michel, I so enjoyed your post! It made me smile. Some of us Xanga oldies need to get together but not in France please. I'd have to walk and I might drown.
I know you love beautiful music. I remember the music on her site. May your day be filled with beautiful music!

Xanga has help many of us. I am grateful to have among my many friends a man named Michel
Aww that is so sweet of you!
Sorry I am a little bit "On strike" the last weeks.
The changes are going so fast that it is difficult to keep up, plus the labtop is in repair and i don't know when comes back. To sell are fastn but service is not fast anymore.
Nice of you to post the song.
Amitié
Carlo
Happy Weekend, Michel!!!

I'm so glad you are my friend! You are amazing! You bring such joy and peace in XangaLand!!!
HUGS and Smiles!!!
Several years ago while my husband and I were in Hawaii, we watched the Bill Gaither show being taped for tv. We got to sit outside on the grass while listening to to the beautiful music and watching the sunset. It was a wonderful experience.
I understand that that show saw and heard with your husband sitting on the grass in Hawaii has left an indelible and inexpressible mark on you.
It's natural to resist change, especially for those of us who are in our senior years. But I have found such interesting people here that I'm willing to be flexible to retain these connections. Your blog has always been one of my favorites as I love all things French. And your love of gardening is the cherry on top. I'm glad you are having success in customizing your page to suit your needs.
Hello, Michel! Thank you for staying in touch. I have been adjusting to some new demands in my work, and it has been very hard to blog. This was a beautiful song that you shared. God bless you!
We have had so many miracles happen to us here on Xanga. An old friend from Xanga, Edwin and his wife are here for a conference. I will see them tomorrow. I think we last saw each other before Bruce died. I am fine but these homeless keep me VERY busy. It is a good busy. LOve to all of you!!!!{v}
An uplifting song. Thank you for your friendship. You are one of a kind my friend.
I do not know how I did it, Michel, except I went to customize and put in my site and It fell in place!! I am so glad!!!
Je suis heureux de voir que ton site a repris ses esprits.
Curieux quand même ce problème. Enfin, vu que la colonne est réapparue, c'est une affaire réglée, si on peut dire.
oh cher michel sorry i've been lazy and not on xanga. i don't get the updates like i used to on xanga. sigh. i'm trying to do everything here taking care of isla so i don't get on xanga to learn how to use the new one. i feel the same as you. i want my site fixed like yours too!!!i am just thinking it'll take too long to figure out how to fix my site....sigh. i must go to bed, dear michel. more later! xoxox i posted a new blog.
<3 {v}
This song is indeed beautiful, Michel, and I'm pleased that your dear friend was able to help you! I have also adjusted my profile as per your instructions so hopefully that will work well for you now too! Cheers!!
Yes, Larry, your name is clickable ,now . I can access quickly to your site in clicking on
At least your post is a good size and someone helped you.
My xanga has a real narrow column and not worth the effort. I think you and Maggie and Granny Hummingbird are the only ones to follow me to my journal.
Look at all these comments! You are the heart and soul of Xanga now, my friend.
Lovely song sang my wonderful voices. I listen to these singers all the time. (thistlepatch)
Gorgeous. Finlandia is my favorite hymn tune, although I have usually sung it with different words (We Rest on Thee). The words of the Gaither version are wonderful.
I've missed a lot by not checking Xanga! You have several posts I hadn't read until today.
That song as sung by that group is one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing it, and also for this post. I too have so much that I need to learn about this new Xanga, and how to use it. Hopefully my posts will get better as I use the new Xanga more, and perhaps you and my other friends will be able to share your knowledge with me, too. It is good to be back again!
Merci à toi cher Michel de tous tes partages si enrichissants au-delà des frontières!
Cordiales salutations de Nidau, AM/J
