Voici deux photos de mon potager. La première a été prise le 31 Mars 2003 et la seconde hier Lundi 5 Mars 2007 .
Même terre nue excepté pour les poireaux et le persil restant de l année dernière .

Mais sur la première prise fin mars 2003 les semences ont déjà été mises en terre .
Voyez le filet vers qui protège les jeunes oignons , les échalotes et les pois contre les oiseaux .
Les graines de poireaux et de carottes ont été semées etc ... Les pommes de terre ont été plantées à partir de la St Joseph (19 Mars ) .

Hier en regardant le potager ( photo 2 ) je me disais chaque année à la même période j’ ai le même spectacle
et j’ ai à faire les mêmes travaux dans ce potager depuis 21 ans que nous habitons Amiens .
C’ est toujours à recommencer et recommencer et pendant ce temps là les années passent sans qu’on s’ en aperçoive .

Mais dans trois semaines comme sur la première photo les pommiers seront en fleurs et tout sera prêt pour la gloire d’un nouveau printemps , plein d’ espoir .

Et nous espérons que nous pourrons chanter comme en 2003 avec Henry Purcell (1659 – 1695 ) :
" Ainsi la Nature en se réjouissant nous a montré le chemin avec des divertissements innocents pour célébrer ce jour .

Here are above  two pictures of my vegetable garden . The first has been taken on March 31, 2003 and the second , yesterday  Monday , March 5, 2007 .
Always the same bare ground excepted for the leeks and parsley remaining from the previous year trough the winter .
 

  But on the first picture taken at the end of March 2003 the seeds have already put in the ground .
See the green net protecting young onions , shallots and peas against the birds .
The leek and carrot seeds have been sown  etc ... The potatoes have been planted since Saint Joseph Day ( March 19 ) .

  Yesterday in looking at the vegetable garden ( photo2 ) I told myself at the same moment of the year I have the same show
and the same works to do in this vegetable garden for 21 years we live in Amiens .

It always is to begin again and again meanwhile the years pass without we are conscious of this .

   But in three weeks like on the fist picture the apple trees will be bloomed and all will be ready for the glory of a new spring full of hope .
