Smile
English texts after the french texts .
On last Saturday May 6 our last grand daughter Clementine visited us . She is born on the 31th of October 2002 ( click on the link for remembering ) . It ' s always a delight for her to walk in the garden and pick some flowers : tulips , Lily of the Valley that she will bring to her mom . Finally what do we have else to do that to enjoy her calm smile and her interest for nature ?

And like all the young children she enjoys to swing and especially when her grandmother gives her a swing . The pleasure makes her smile . In the future she will climb the tree behind !!
Grandma ! give me a swing ! Photo M.. Fauquet 2006
Grand ' Mère ! Pousse - moi !
And what is more charming than the smile of a grandmother who carries her granddaughter in her arms

Awww Michel you are a man blessed with priceless treasure's. I love the last pic so precious. I also love the name Clementine. There's a song for that name. I was confused when I checked the link for October 31,2002 you had her birth down for November 31, 2002 then I understood. You and Janine have a beautiful family isn't it wonderful how you start out two people and just keep growing in numbers...12 grandchildren very nice.
Shirley
Quelle petite fille charmante!
Ciao,
Annalisa
I remember reading about Clementine being born
I love the photo where she looks pensive. Janine is looking ever more young
I'm glad you blogged today - I now have a happy Tuesday
Just had a thought - why is the washing powder called Persil ? Does the herb make clothes white too ????
Marie
i cannot think of anything more charming than a grandmama's smile while embracing her beautiful grandchild.... Clementine... a beautiful name for a beautiful child!!
Awwwww. I can tell you really love your family. Family is most important.
Always beautiful pictures!!! So do you guys have any big trips planned for this year? Hope you are all well!

Oh, I love them all...but that smile, looking up from the swing at her grandmama...too perfect. When did you jump ahead of me to 12 grands. I only have 11...but we will have no more, so you win.
your wife is beautiful, Michel. she must have been very young when you married her~! lol and Clementine is so precious.
your swing set looks well used. aww... the memories.

Oh, I remember when she was born!!! She has turned into a gorgeous little girl. And you are right, there is nothing better than seeing a child in the arms of her grandmother. They are wonderful photographs Michel.
Bonjour, Michel!
I do enjoy the pictures each time. She is such a beautiful little girl. So very precious! I can see the love in both of their eyes. It's a wonderful thing to witness and see.
Have a wonderful week!
God bless.
Awww...Clementine is just as sweet as can be.
Janine looks beautifully content and happy to be with her.
The last picture is a true picture of "love". Clementine (I love the name) has the most beautiful smile.
I am truly envious of Janine. She is still so slim and trim. You are a very fortunate man to have these ladies in your life----along with your other grandchildren. They are what makes life worth living! You and I are blessed, aren't we?
Yes, indeed, Janine is a beautiful woman and your grand-daughter is following in her footsteps. It must be wonderful for you both to have your family near! Your heart must be full of love, and I think, a little bit of well-deserved pride. Good pictures, Michel! - Rachel
Lovely pictures to treasure in years to come.
I see myself in Janine. Nothing gives me more pleasure than the smile given me by a child.
RYC I finally got back on the internet at 6:30!!!! Grrrrrrr!!!!
Awww, those pictures are really sweet and lovely! You have a very pretty grand-daughter, Michel. God has really blessed you with a wonderful and loving family. Be blessed and enjoy.
i always love your pictures.
they make me happy
Ohhhh Michel! This blog is so beautiful.
Little Clementine is such a sweety, and Janine looks the very proud and loving grandmother. Absolutely wonderful pictures of granddaughter and grandmother.
I really like the name, Clementine. I'm reminded of that old song that goes, "...my darling Clementine...".
Make sure you frame these pictures at home, wont you?
I remember when she was born. Her grandmother looks at her and I know how she feels.
What a sweet interlude! Clementine is a perfect flower of a child herself! Your wife looks so happy. I love these pictures. Makes me look forward to being a grandmother myself, at some point in the future!
We have the same flowers in bloom now. The lily-of-the-valley has come on just as the lilac bush is nearly finished, but for a while I can enjoy the fragrance of both together from a path to my patio.
I love your pictures thank you, my eyes are not focusing very well today I think I have a cold in them but wanted to stop by and say hello and God Bless!

What wonderful photos of Janine and Clementine esp the last two photos
. The photos show a great bond between Grandmother and Grandaughter
. In a few weeks I will be showing photos of Alice when she makes her first communion in June
It looks like the Garden of Eden before the snake manged to ruin everything.
The appel tree is flowering and the apple is not yet been eaten.
The children will remember this as the best time of their life thanks to you.

Oh Michel, I can certainly see Janine in Clamentine. They share the same shaped mouth and, maybe chin and eyes. They are both beautiful princesses of the soon coming King! Be blessed dear Sir - oh you already are!!! (0;`~
What sweet sentiment. I am planning a day of planting flowers with my girls. A sweet lady from church brought some to me from the abundance of her garden. I will treasure these forever. I hope that one day....in a decade or so....to be walking through the garden with my own special grandchildren. Then I will remember when I planted flowers with their mother and share the fragrences with them.
Love to all in your household from ours,
Karen
What a gorgeous family you have. You are truly blessed. Your world is surrounded with beauty!
....Que dire...larmes aux yeux...tendresse...serenite....bond between grandma and Clementine....precieux,tresor comme aucun...

Beautiful! Had I a swing I'd be on it. A visit to the local school ground they are fenced off and gate padlocked.
I loved the pictures! Please know my new site lesleyswife....instead of geddiegirl....a change in focus maybe? Life is so about choosing and I want to clearly say that I am me, but more so I choose to be his wife. He is worthy! hugs, Shanna
Those are lovely pictures of Janine and Clementine. They look like they were having a wonderful day.
I also enjoyed the pictures of the hut and of the Easter Egg hunt. Your grandchildren really enjoy coming to your home!
Did you keep your father-in-law's tray?
Awww --- granddaughters are so special! Janine looks so happy to have that wee angel in her arms, & I don't blame her. I look the same when I have mine!

Those are two very lovely ladies Michel! You are blessed!
Love,
Debbie
Ah, sweet girl childhood and grandmothers, such a wonderful combination.
Especially when there smiles all around.
Thanks for your comment on my Mother's Day post, Michel.
My mother was just like you and Janine in teaching us table manners, as you've said in my blog, and not allowing us to leave the dinner table without asking permission etc. I think these were all very valuable lessons they taught us, and I really value them. You did very well with your children, Michel. Just look at your wonderful, close family!
Yes, my mother would have really loved to have spoken to you in French. You are just the sort of man she would have liked. You're kind and very honest with good conversation.
Good evening hun and hope you have a blessing evening and hope we can become great friends
Such beautiful pictures. The last one really touches my heart.
You always have a way to bring a smile to us all Michel. The photographs are lovely and you build an incredible web scrap book for your children and grandchildren here with us and we are ever so glad to be able to share it. Thank you so much.
Love, Brenda
PS: To answer your question; I'm not a doctor, I just like the physical sciences and everything natural.
Beautiful granddaughter and beautiful wife
As far as Oscar Wilde haunting me goes - I always liked his play on words (The Importance of Being Earnest is a favorite). Besides, it could always be worse - could be Tolstoy who would probably insist on more re-writes to War and Peace........
Mmmm, parsley is delicious! I see the first and last picture but not the middle picture. The pictures I can see are precious. You said, "what is more charming than the smile of a grandmother who carries her granddaughter in her arms" I agree! Your girls are so sweet together.

(((((HUGS)))))))) May God Bless and keep you safe and healthy.

So it is life, a continuos change.
Bien à toi,
Carlo
Blessings! You are blessed! They are blessed to have such wonderful memories!
Cute Granddaughter!!!
- i took a picture of a chair with some french writing on it, it's on my xanga.. could you help me translate it please ^^
They really are enjoying our Spring aren't they? It is nice to be outside having a good time in the sunshine and not stuck in the house. Clementine has grown so much. And Janine is beautiful as always.
Those are wonderful pictures! You do capture the spirit of children so very well and as for the proud gramma...She is so lovely. They do look alike. Clementine takes after her gramma.
Have a blessed day!
Fran
Clementine and I have the same birthday "October 31st". Your grandchildren are so bless to have such loving and wonderful grandparents. I remember when i was younger how much fun it was to be aroung my grandparents - a lot of my best memories of my childhood came from my grandparents. Sadly, I’ve lost both of my grandfathers - one of which i was extremely closed to. And, my grandmothers are in my homeland. I do write, send pictures and call them - but it's not the same - after all "every grandchild needs their grandparents." Grandparents love is one of a kind - no one can substitute that.
beautiful...
Hey sweetie..Hope you and I become great friends......hope you havea blessing weekend as well.......:)
Awww, little Clementine is so very cute!! Thank you for shaing these wonderful pictures!
I hope all is well! Enjoy your weekend and I'll talk to you again soon!
Cheers, my friend!
Michel, it is clear that Janine and Clementine are 2 people who love each other very much. It shines from their eyes and their smiles! Thanks so much for the birthday wishes; it was yesterday. I was treated to a "hero night" at Leah's school. The children had written essays about their personal heroes and several of them read their essays aloud. All heroes were honored, it was a lovely and moving night. Leah's hero was her cousin, Michael. Love, Karen
What a beautiful and precious little lady! As always, I enjoy your pictures!!!
xoxoxo Cat
Ah... the smile of a grandchild.
i can't wait until i'm retired and spending time with my grandchildren
Belle Clementine, she lets her grandmother shine
I am glad she loves to be in the garden; the place to learn many things about nature in the first place! Have a sunny weekend!
Hello! You had mentioned the red car(s) parked...all the red cars are ours. The house does not have a garage yet but we have plans to build one here very soon. It will be nice to have a place to protect our cars and a workshop for Blaine to work in.
Your garden is just lovely! Mine is just beginning...it was a blank slate or blank canvas to begin with...nothing had been done as far as flowers were concerned. I will admit...it has been a bit intimidating to know what to put where. I'm sure many things will change over the course of the year. I'm trying to learn about the area and what will grow where and if I need to move a few plants in the process...well..the life of a gardener! :O)
Your pictures and your garden have given me so many wonderful ideas...thank you for the inspiration!
My love to you and Janine!
xoxo Cat
it is me again.
your friend,
aliah
Salut! A bientot!
Ahhhh...the beauty in love.

Michel, your blessings are many in Janine and Clementine.. Such innocence and beauty!
Beautiful pictures as always, Michel. I too love the last one. You should enlarge and frame it on your wall. You have a beautiful family!
Kaye
Those are just beautiful pictures!! The colors are wonderful and the expressions of your wife and grand-daughter are priceless! They bring a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing!
The children make the best photos. Smiles tell of one's happy life.
It's wonderful to have grandmother. I had a grandmother who doted on me but I was too young to remember anything. I only hear about her from my parents.
How wonderful these pictures are...not only can you see the love...you can feel it...from one to the other...thank you so much for sharing this special part of your life with us...huggs...Sassy
Bonjour, Michel!
too cute!
Those are wonderful pictures Michel! I have always said that you are a great photographer, you really capture the moment!
My goodness, Clenentine is already such a big girl. She does have the same lovely smile as her grandmother. I especially enjoyed these photographs.
Carol Suzanne
Your granddaughter is so cute. I have very good memory's of spending time with my grandmother. Clementine will also have good memory's.
In my experience some children are drawn more to nature than others. It is fascinating to see a child who loves all things natural and is fascinated by all the things outdoors. Howard Gardner calls it Nature Intelligence as one of the 8 human intelligences. There is much truth in his work and it affirms that we all have a dominant intelligence. A beaufiful set of photos of Grandmother and child.
Delightful, beautiful and loving pictures! You and Janine are so closely in love-you have started to resemble each other--truly a compliment. Thank you for what you said in your comment--you are so generous!
P.S. I love parsley and it is so good for one to eat!
What a beautiful family you have. Thank you for sharing your wonderful family with us. Judi
I have a large extended family that visit often. I have three daughters, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. I do not find it lonely to live alone with so many good friends and family. In fact after so many years of giving to others I find it rather refreshing to be alone when I get to be. Judi
Clementine - what a beautiful name! A beautiful child.
Thank you for all of your well wishes. Yes I'm feeling better and today I will return to commuting by bicycle. Ryc: My daughter is interested in environmental studies and has an interest in becoming a park ranger. But we'll see what happens!
I'm following the Giro, and wondering if you will see any of the Tour this July? Does it pass through your town?
such a sweet family!!
Ah, the beauty of beauties in Spring!
The tree pushed me back 5 miles? Ha. I love your envisioning.
