Ma fleur est revenue
My flower is back
English version under the pictures
Elle me dit certainement quelque chose . Quoi ?

The special flower in my garden ( Anemone ) Photo MFauquet August 2002
On August 29 / 2002 I wrote this following blog about a flower in my garden .
The last year in September 2001 I wrote the text below about a special flower of my garden that I like very much . This year it already is flowered and I offer to you its picture . It is a quite simple white flower . I said :
What a flower says :
At the entrance of my vegetable garden in the border is standing an Aster bush . All the time I have to limit its expansionism in taking out a big part of its rhizome network . Drowned into that invasive bush there is a wonderful white flower , a kind of Anemone that is blooming only in September . Before I see nothing , only the Asters and some faded Peony leaves . Every year I wonder : " Will it grow up and flower ? " and I waiting for it . And suddenly every year at this time it appears , brightly white , and answers : " I am here , Michel " . I have to say I almost consider that flower as a friend . She certainly tells me something . What ? : " I thank you to have preserved me from those Asters and let me alive ? You see I am faithful for 15 years ? Life and love are stronger than death ? " A little of all that . I am very sensitive to that special Anemone . Dear friends , could I ask you if you have a flower that tells something to you ? And I add : Is there a flower that you love particularly

The same in August 2005 Photo Michel Fauquet August 2005
Up date on the 30th August 2005
Unfortunatly she didn' t bloom in 2003 and 2004 . I was sad of this . Think she had bloomed every year for 15 years . Besides the years 2003 and 2004 were not very good for us ( familial worries and some problem of health ) .
But this year she has bloomed again , still at the same place and she told me again : " Michel I am here for you " .I may look silly but I am happy to have this sign of hope and valiance .

It is good that your flower has bloomed again for you. She teaches us that we must not give up hope. Some things have different cycles that are not to be known. She is a miracle
You do no look silly to me. Can your white flower be a new special flower that blooms? I'll look forward to seeing it again next September.
My special flower is my purple Clematis. I've been tending that vine for several years and I'm always thrilled when it blooms.
Hope blooms eternally!
I am happy that you have seen your lovely pure white flower once again.
she does NOT look silly. she is beautiful. i'm glad she came to pay you a visit this year.

I believe such signs of hope are from God to help us endure in this life. Thank you for telling this story.
Hi. I have seen you a lot on Edie Roses xanga, and always thought that you seemed real interesting, and nice, and very knowledgeable...and I just thought I would stop by to see what you are all about. I am so impressed. Your looks remind me of a dear old friend of mine, who just happened to be my old busdriver. He has had a stroke, and does not really remember me, after all of these years. I saw him for the first time, since the last time I rode his bus, just a couple of weeks ago. It was so overwhelming, I couldn't fight back the tears....not because I felt sorry for him, necessarily, but because it meant so much to me to get to see him again. He looked great! He was in good spirits, and was still going strong, but kept apologizing for his lack of memory.
Anyway...I will be 40 my next birthday, so it has been a long time since I have ridden a school bus. (smile) I have always loved older people, and really take to them more than people my own age, or younger. I have learned a lot more, just by being around the older generation. I saw that you were retired, so I hope that it does not bother you that I talk about being older. I have worked in several different nursing homes, throughout my life...but haven't done that in a while, and I really miss it, and the people. I get so attached to them.
Anyway...there is just something about you, that made me, finally, break down and leave you a comment in your xanga. I really hope that you don't mind, so much. From reading some of the comments that you leave to Edie Rose, you just seem so sweet, and nice....and like I said...very knowledgeable & interesting.
I hope that all is well with you, and you are enjoying being retired, and that you are having a wonderful day. I enjoyed your pictures. Thanks for sharing them here on xanga. Bye-bye, now. Take care. God Bless.
Love,
Kim
This Anemone looks like a piece of art, so perfect and beautiful. I am glad it bloomed this year, that is certainly a hopeful thing.
I hope you are feeling good Michel and that you and Janine are doing wonderful.
Now we are coming to the end of summer and looking for the change of season again. Change is good.
I like so many flowers. I love Roses and Zinnias and daisies.
It is always good to read your blog and see what you have.

LA FLEUR EST TRES BELLE. CETTE ENTREE A DES DESCRIPTIONS TRES PRECISES.
beautiful. Michel!!
She knew she was needed
Beautiful flower - I love peach colored roses and daises... they are happy flowers - just like that one
im so happy your flower has bloomed again!!! Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts due to the hurricaneKatrina,, it means alot
Bonjour, Michel!
I am glad that your flower has returned to your garden. It is, indeed, une belle fleur.
I can understand why you would enjoy seeing it so much. Like the flower, Michel, my friendship is also here for you. I appreciate your life, your smile, and YOU!
I hope this comment finds you well. Have a wonderful week! God bless.
What a fateful friend your lovely flower continues to be, Michel. May she live forever, blooming for your beloved grandchildren in all the years to come. Katrina's winds came through out tiny town here on the edge of Tennessee early this morning. Even here 8 hours away from the coast we lost trees! Mother nature never fails to remind us, She is master.
I had a special flower as a child. They were crimson lilies that bloomed only once in September also like your flower. And they bloomed not just on any September day but only on my birthday. My birthday became a Christmas to me when I could be sure that a bunch of bright red flowers would be waiting for me on the terrace, my most precious gift. I was disappointed to leave it in my childhood home in India when I moved to the U.S.
PS: Now, I know that the fact that my birthday falls on Autumnal equinox might have had something to do with the timing of the flowers.
what a beautiful flower!!! so glad it came back this year......must be like a friend to you or family! LOL God bless you and your wife!
this web log, i love this particularly! you are a wonderful man.
Beautiful flower.
We, too, are praying for the people affected by the hurricane.
K xo
The flower is called a Japanese anemone here. We had some but they have been lost in the "wilderness" that has grown up since Frank's death ( I am not a gardener !! ) My favourite is the nerine that blooms throughout October and November at the time when all others have died down. It shines brightly at the front of the house lighting up the dark days.
Marie
What a wonderful flower and friend!
That is a beautiful flower, Michel. How wonderful for you that it has finally returned! We are all praying for the poor people of Louisiana, Florida and Mississippi. They have a long road ahead of them. Karen
lori
A beautiful flower indeed Michel - I have never seen one like that before. You must be very proud.
Its strange that she did not bloom in the years that you had worries . Its nice to know that all is well so she can bloom in such a beautiful way . You should be very happy to have tend her so carefully so that she could bloom again .
I have been watching the news of the flooding that has come now after the hurracaine
Pretty flower and im wearing the orange shirt in the pics:)
~*Sazzy*~
I'm glad your flower came back!!! You're thoughts on the vigilance of the flower and the hurricane kind of go hand in hand. We'll all keep those people in our thoughts.
Yay! I am happy that you got your flower back.
She's beautiful!
Michel, you have the soul of a poet!!!! Only a sensitive person would relate to a flower as you do! My favorite flower is the lilac which is actually a bush. My mother had one and it brings back so many happy memories. Your picture was a work of art, but then, so are you!!!!!!
What a lovely little friend you have Michel! She seems to smile at us too! I have three favorite flowers nashturshums, soft melon orange from my childhood growing wild and free ( and fun to have as a salad too) an Orchid I forget always the name of it. It is white and flat and usually only has one or two blooms...It is very Japanese looking to me..Mature Simplicity..and what most call a weed..again from childhood and magical thinking..Dandilions...to make a wish then blow..oh I almost forgot number 4! White Morning Glories..They kept hope alive in my heart one year, as each morning I would watch them open slowly and advance their long tendriles of fierce tenacity...for such a fragile looking flower. That was a hard year I needed what they sang to me...Then one day..the painters came a long and told the owner they must all be cut down or they "might" spit the eves of the house. They are that powerful!.I still mourn those Morning Glories...((Wings))

It is a beautiful, pristine flower. And I think it is a good omen for you---that only good things will happen this year!!
Lovely ,lonely little flower. I am so glad it bloomed for you again, must be a sign of something, perhaps someone somewhere ,thought of you again this year and not the missing ones. I like roses but also gerberas .I think they are spelled like that .I have artificial ones in my vases indoors.Keep p your gardening I know you love it .Cheers Marjie

P.S .Revenue means money in our language ,Me again Marjie,
I plan to have a tree like your flower. When we get moved, I want to plant a tiny sprout of a tree and nurture it and watch it grow. It will help remind me of how I got there.
Gorgeous flowers, Michel!
I love your cheery posts, unlike mine sometimes.
I also love the way you say your vegetables and flowers "talk" to you.
Come to think of it, mine "talk" to me too!
My spring flowers in the courtyard call me outside to sit with them and water them.
Again, lovely post!
thats such a long time. the things i grow die within a year. very detailed picture!! =D
Michel~
What a wonderful companion your flower is! I feel that way about my cherry tree...it was only a sapling when I moved here twenty years ago. Your anemone looks a bit like a single rose but the foliage is different. Do you grow many varieties of roses? I love the antique blooms like Baron de Prevost.
Hugs,
Lisa
what a gorgeous flower!
That is a beautiful flower. My favorites are Gerbera Daisies and tulips.
I love them all!
Remarkable: not only have you been blogging long enough to write about this flower for 3 years, but you have been tending to its care for 15.
Much in life will bloom, only after given care and devotion.
Yes Michel I too have a special flower that blooms just for me every August, an African Lily greets me without fail and has done so for 22years. Ron
That's a beautiful flower...you really have a green thumb for growing things. A beautiful photograph too....you have a lot of talent. I think flowers are always signs of such hope.
Have a great day.
Paula

A simple white flower ... she is simply perfection! And although she didn't bloom for two years, as with love, she is as perennial as the grass. Perhaps she has come again as an indication that the worries of those two years are behind you and only happiness and good health lie ahead. My favourite flower is a white iris; it sings of purity and simplicity and its beauty feeds my soul. Take care, my friend. Nancy
I think that, for me, I have 2 flowers - or rather two varieties of one flower - that are special for me: Lily of the Valley and the Easter Lily.
The Lily of the Valley I like because it reminds me of my maternal grandmother and the Easter Lily because I like the way it blooms.
I have watched some of the news coverage of the hurricane and its devastation - two of my co-workers have family in Louisiana, one who had family in New Orleans itself (although they had made it out of state safely) and the other about 70 miles (113 km) northwest of the city (also safe).
I am so glad your faithful flower has bloomed again for you. Perhaps it sensed the hard years of 2003 and 2004 and did not bloom. As you know I love many flowers and spend happy hours in the garden tending to them. However, my favorite plant was an apricot tree growing in my parent's yard when I was a girl. I liked the shape of the leaves and the way the sunlight dappled on the ground through the leaves (imagine my delight when I discovered the wonderful paintings of Renoir and his use of sunlight and shade). Under the tree each year came up tiny flowers called Johnny Jump-Ups (a member of the same flower family as the pansey). For a number of years the tree did not produce fruit. My father thought to cut it down, but I begged him to leave it be. He agreed, and then it began to give us many apricots. The taste of the fruit, warm from the sun, was most delicious.
As ever,
Carol Suzanne
Hey, nice site you have here. I thought you might be interested in this site:
Music Videos for your Xanga.
Thank you for the kind comments you left, it really meant A LOT to me. I'm so glad to hear about the flower. It' very beautiful. I love hearing about your garden. I have only green plants here in my apartment. No flowers since they only stay in bloom for a short time then do not bloom again. That's the bad part about living in an apartment! Thanks for your support I genuinely appreciate it!
i love how you wrote your entry in both french and english! i read the whole thing in french and if i needed help w/ a word (since i am still learning), i looked below to see the translation!

How blessed you are that the lovely flower bloomed again this year. It is so sweet. Thank you for sharing it again. I would have to say the iris is my favorite flower. Their fragrance is so refreshing to me. It makes me thankful to Jehovah for not only my eye sight ,so as to see them. But also my sense of smell, so, I can enjoy their delicate aroma.
I have found that each color of iris has it's own fragrance,
Sup fauquet. i like big ass dicks. do u? If u have a pic of a dick, send me one, plz. I shall be waiting for it, honey bun.
P.S. is your bun made of honey? if it is, can I stick my bannana up and make myself a bannana honey bun sandwich? I'm sure it will be delicious AND DELIGHTFUL.
A very faithfull friend and this year you will have a lot og happy things going on.

The flower is affirming your love and family strength, and the beauty that surrounds you all. It is a wonderfully positive thing, a great affirmation of purity and beauty. It sums up you, Michel, as a person, and what a great person you are! Vive Michel!
flowers are an angels calling card i have heard may you be surrounded but somehow i feel you have an inside track on this Michael ~ beautiful ~ i love my Gardenia and act like an expectant mother in anticipation of her pure white sensitive petals & her heavenly aroma as the tight bud unfolds ~ thank you always magi
I have plants from my parents' yard. They remind me of my mom because she was the gardener. I have chives and forget-me-nots that remind me of my parents. Several years before she died, I gave my mother a white rose bushin memory of my grandmother, but after she died, the bush died, too. I think next year I will plant a white rose bush in memory of my grandmother. Ta fleur est tres belle.
Le fleur est tres jolie =).
Hey,Michel!

I'm afraid my passion flower vines are not of this world for much longer despite my best intentions, but after reading your post I'll keep faith for a little while more.
Thank you, Michel.
I was real glad to hear from you. I see that you have drawn so many people to your xanga. That ought to say something about yourself. Anyway, with having to reply to so many people, don't worry, I completely understand if you cannot always get back to me. I had a hard time when I started xanga, at first. Just know that you are very much appreciated. I mean that.
I wonder how Edie Rose is doing? I love her. She is also very interesting, and takes the most beautiful pictures. Did you see the ones of the deer in her back yard? It did look like a painting. The deer are very thick here where we live. You see them all of the time, especially while driving...but you know what is funny? We moved here, by the lake, several months ago, and I haven't seen one deer yet. I have seen everything in my back yard but a deer, including a snake.
Yes. Both my husband and I are singers, and he is a musician. He plays several different instruments, but his favorite being the pedal-steel guitar. He plays it beautifully. We had our own band months ago, but the place where we were playing shut down, so we just never picked it back up anywhere else. We have been too busy this summer with buying and selling houses, and moving, and remodeling, etc. While my husband is putting in long hours trying to make ends meet, and foot two house payments, and two sets of utilities, I am at home doing all the handyman work. Our house is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen/diningroom, livingroom, laundryroom, 2 car (attached garage).....1248 square ft., and I have completed all but 1 room in less than 3 months, all by myself. I really enjoy that type of work. I love my gardens, and have also done tons of landscaping in the back of our new home, with lots of perrinials. If you scroll further into my xanga.......you can see pictures of some of the things I have done. I think you would enjoy seeing the kitchen cabinet I built in 1996. I love to build with wood, and do many other things, as well. I really appreciate, and decorate with the old, antique, rustic things...you know...things with character.
Oh, and by the way, I would have to say, my favorite flowers are mums, especially the deep, dark red ones. I love them because they most generally grow into a nice-sized, round bush.......and are completely full of flowers. I think they are just beautiful. Too bad they bloom only, closer to fall. I love most all flowers, though. It is really hard to choose.
Hope to get to know you better, here on xanga, Michel. Again, thanks for stopping by. Take care. God Bless.
Love,
Kim
Sorry about that, Michel. Looks like you will have to delete, atleast, one of my comments out of your xanga. I can't do it, or I would. Thank you.
You take care of that anemone, you hear? It's so nice to hear that she expresses her gratitude to you. Thank you for the smile, even as my heart breaks for what is happening in New Orleans and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The other areas will recover. I don't know about NO and MGC.
Hi, Michel.
You asked where I live? I live in Ohio, close to Buckeye Lake. Hope you are having a great day. Thanks for commenting.
Love,
Kim
Well you asked who was pictured in front of St. Peter's and it's me!
Happy September!

Your flower is very beautiful and it seems to have a personality of its own, struggling to thrive against tough odds. I am glad it bloomed for you this year, my friend!
My thoughts and prayers are also with the hurricane victims. How very tragic it all is.
I hope you have a pleasant weekend!
I hope the price of gas drops by this winter. It's insane.
LPN school is to become a basic nurse. Later, I can go to school to be an RN which is a better nurse (more complicated).
That is very pretty! I bet you were glad to see it bloom this year!
The first flower looks like porcelin. Delicate looking. Any scent?
My night blooming cerecus (sp) have to be a favorite and I do hope some day to catch one as it starts to unfold. I have arrived shortly thereafter and the scent is out of this world.
hard times are when we find the most beauty - jean genet said something like that. we are never more beautiful than when we are closest to death.......he was a poet to remember...much as you are.
what a pretty flower so pure
Angela
Beautiful flower.
(I have many friends in the garden too.)
oOooohhhHhh..
that is one beautiful flower,
and yes,
thoughts are prayers are with all those affected by Hurricane Katrina.
<3
I hope your flower is blooming to tell you that you have wonderful times coming to you.
The hurricane damage is so sad, especially in New Orleans. That was a beautiful city and it will be nearly a year before anyone can live there again. Many of the beautiful old buildings are gone. We stayed in a couple of really wonderful historic hotels there. I am glad we were able to see them for I fear that they are no more. There are bodies floating in the streets there and people who are alive but will die because they can't be rescued.
Michel--
That is beautiful!!!
It's Friday, and I'm in love! Actually, I'm in love every day of the week. Someone special has my heart. It's a wonderful feeling.
♥♥♥
Hi Michel.....I love the picture! Don't flowers scan so lovely on scanners? I was doing that with copiers and sunflowers a dozen years ago and how things have just gotten better. I need to send you some of my sunflowers...and some cones - I love coneflowers, poppys, sunflowers, - you name it I probably love it - in my next life I intend to be a botanist and also a preschool teacher! Love kids, love plants - really I also could run a doggy day care as I love pets - we might be moving soon and if we get the place there would be room for a doggy day care for sure!
I am sorry I have not written for so long. I love the last pictures - I love architecture and the pictures you took were so beautiful.
Love
Kat
ohhh!!!! wow! that's a beautiful flower! it looks so silky and soft! i'd be sad too if it did not bloom. I share your excitement!!! hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I hope you will feel better tomorrow Michel
I am feeling a bit better now but it was my own fault I was not feeling well
Ce que tu as écrit me touche beaucoup, Michel!
Quel surprise! Je suis absolutement ravie
Sweet Michel, maybe she was sad and worried for the family during 2003 and 2004? I'm glad she's back!
The flower is gorgeous, Michel. I hope it continues to return.

Oh, what a wonderful story Michel!
I'm so sorry I haven't been around here much and commenting. I find it so hard to find time to play online these days, while I am writing my thesis. And to answer your question, yes I will have to move. My lease runs out on December 4, and I am allowed to stay until then regardless of whether the landlord sells the house or not. I hope you and your family are well.
Hey Michael
thanks for the words. The poem is actually a song from 'my fair lady' - the musical based off "Pygmalion' - a play by George Bernard Shaw,
I sent you an email in an attempt to answer your questions about hurricane preparedness.
things are blooming this year that were merely sleeping this time last year again beautiful thank you for visiting & God Bless Michael love magi
Hey sweety God Bless .http://i.xanga.com/pepsiluver/smilhug.gif
a lovely flower. i personally love snapdragons. we do not have any in our garden currently, though.
thank you for your thoughts of the hurricane victims over here! that's very nice of you. : )
Glad to hear your flower is doing really well
I think the third rail might have around for a while. And yeah, they've come a long long way and so have us all.
Yes there is a flower that I love, I leave this flower in its natural abode, I would never dream of picking it, its velvety petals are like a baby's skin, its colour is the colour of passion, it is wild and free, to me its beauty is unparalled when swaying in the breeze together with all its siblings. Have you guessed,? it's the RED POPPY.
RITA.
What a beautiful flower! I love daisies, they remind me of purity. That anemone sure is something, though. Praise for the flower! Maybe it is part of your family, and in a past life was maybe a dear sibling or grandfather?
-the rachael
Maybe your flower is telling you it will be a good year for you. I love my hollyhocks. They are just small green plants until June. Then they grow tall, sometimes taller than I am and have their double blooms that just make me feel good. They bloom all through July and when I cut them back and save the seeds, they go back to being little green plants again. I guess it shows me that every life, even that of a plant has times of growth and beauty, and that every life also has time of just plain, everyday, normal...and that we can't stay tall and beautiful all the time. Or as some would say, on top of a mountain. Sometimes we have to stay in the vally for a while.
You have a great blog Michel.

Hello, Michel.
I have a special flower too that talks to me. It is the simple daylily. Since each bloom lasts but one day, it reminds me to enjoy the beautfy of each day because life is so fleeting that each day is to be treasured.
Tres belle fleur!
The story of the flower is what I hope will happen for the people here. Out of the devastation, hopefully, a flower will bloom again. Out of the flood waters, some where beneath the pieces of wood that were at one time a home, after the city building finishes burning maybe there will be a flower that raises her head to say to all these people, "I am here for you..... see, there is hope." Blessings, kc
haha, yes my "poetry" is a running joke between a few friends because we have so many acquaintances that write bad teen angst poems. its a lot of fun.
the flower is beautiful. i dont believe they grow in new york though.

What a lovely flower Michel! I am so eager to move into our home so that we can start a garden (well, maybe not right away since it will be in the Fall!)
Michel...I would love to send you and Janine our September/October issue of Making It Home Magazine if that is okay with you? Here is my email... info@makingithomemagazine.com

You can learn a lot from a single bloom
and those are some powerfully wise things that your flower has told you! Seriously, that is a beautiful entry.
but most are important lessons that help me live my life in a productive, joyous way.
Do you know what kind of flower it is?
To answer your 2002 question, yes. The road gives me many lessons, some painful

In answer to your question, I am teaching 3 classes this quarter - Health Care Law and Ehtics, Anatomy and Physiology, and Medical Terminology. That comment was on the Health Care Law and Ethics evaluations.
that flower looks like it could be an icing decoration on a cake. it makes me hungry with its beauty
Michel,
Regarding your comment...I am Lutheran and my oldest daughter is Catholic...very similar being that Lutherans came from Catholicism. The magazine is for everyone...it is a little bit of seasoning. :O) I look forward to seeing your comments.
Love, Cat
Me semble-y-il. =)
yes, the other one was quite heavy rock.
but, i like it.
thanks, and if you want to know how to put a video on ask me.
i don't think their is any other classical music where i get it though.

Yes,I have 4 jobs. I teach at a college in the Twin City area. That is my main job. I drive 45 miles to work there. I also work in an after school program 2 days a week tutoring Hispanic students in our junior high in my local community. I am a substitute teacher in our local high school and junior high on the days that I do not work at the college, and I teach adult basic education classes two evenings a week. On Tuesdays, I teach English for Speakers of Other Languages and on Thursdays, I help people study for their high school equivalency exam. I like all the jobs, but I do not like having so many jobs.
That flower is beautiful Michel! I am happy to be back on Xanga, because now I can read your wonderful posts again! Take care

Michel, I would certainly not describe you as 'silly'. You are a very sensitive person who is in tune with nature, something to be proud of. I'm so glad your flower came back for you. I like it's simple beauty.
Thank you for your comment. I've been depressed, for lack of a better word, all week over those poor people in New Orleans. Please keep them in your prayers. I don't understand anything about the current administration, I never have. I only hope we end up with another great leader like Bill Clinton when this term is over, if we make it that long. Take care and love to you and your family. Kaye
Hope...
This entry reminded me of hope and truth
Michel,
Cette fleur est vraiment belle. On dit en anglais, "You sure have a green thumb" a une personne qui peut faire fleurir une belle fleur comme ca heh.
Michel, I posted a couple of pictures of Chase for you on my site.
Hugs,
Lisa
how wonderful to see it back again
one flower that i love very much is the gerbera daisy...do you know that one? i love how big and colourful and tall it is...they do not grow in my garden, unfortunately

Hello! I just found your site from the ArtExchange blog. You are a breath of fresh air. I look forward to reading more of your posts!
I love the white peonie mine are white camellias. I love white flowers anyway. How are you after you loss. Judi
