Concert in a garden .
What a moving charm my wife and I felt recently in a wonderful garden listening to Renaissance and baroque music , from Thomas Morlay to Haendel via Purcell , Vivaldi and Telemann . This music was played by a small band including a real organ and also a spinet or sung by a small choir . We are thrilled with an ineffable happiness . The garden ' s harmony mixed with sounds ' harmony . Such pleasures are unfrequent . They make us rejuvenated . They are eternal . They are pleasure of the soul .

Structure de la phrase.
I love Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. It's so sad and beautiful.

Welcome back Michel! You have been missed. Hope you had a great time!
You are right Michel, that type of music is great for the soul. We have a local band that plays weekly in a park near me. I love going there to relax, and just become one with the music.
Have a great day!!!

...submitted a sketch to ArtExchange that was inspired by YOU. Remember it is a rough sketch only.
...you were missed,
Your pictures are beautiful! I am so glad you had such a wonderful experience!

The Joy your words express.....It's like being there listening with you!!! Missed you! Glad you are back.
Welcome back. You have been missed. What pleasure it must have been to enjoy fine music in such a lovely garden. It would be so soul satisfying. While in England I heard the choir of St. Paul's Cathedral sing accompanied by the cathedral's great organ. The music soared to the heavens.
Thank you for such a beautiful blog! I always enjoy your blogs because, not only are they extermely poetic, but they include beautiful pictures for all to enjoy! Thank you so much! I always look forward to your new blogs.

I love Baroque music! You mention some great composers there - Handel, Vivaldi, Purcell and Telemann - four of my favorites. A Happy Bastille Day to you, Michel, and I've posted something for you on my blog today.
Wonderful! @-}-}---
'Sounds' like you had a great time
Something very rare and unique it seems...probably can't find something like this in NYC anytime.. How often do you go to the mini concert?
Answer to Badtzmarugirl31 - ; I go to the miniconcert casually . like a flower that we pick at the side of a lane . / Michel
Your words and photos also feed the soul. How much I smiled and felt at peace thinking of these sounds with the colours and scents of a fine summer day. Thank you!
With aloha,
Linda
