Le petit train à vapeur de la baie de Somme est maintenant une belle attraction touristique . Il court autour du magnifique estuaire de la Somme , rivière de la Picardie ( Nord de la France) qui passe à Amiens . . Autrefois c ' était une ligne régulière . la deuxième photo prise en 1969 montre mon fils aîné Thierry qui avait 4 ans examinant la locomotive diesel de ce train .

Maintenant la vielle locomotive à vapeur qui tire ses wagons me fait penser à ma femme et moi qui avons derrière nous 6 enfants et 10 petits - enfants ( 11 à la fin de ce mois et 12 en novembre ) . .Mais contrairement à la vieille locomotive nous nous demandons si c ' est nous qui tractons ou si c ' est eux qui nous poussent !

    The little train .

The little steam train of Bay of the Somme is become a nice attraction for visitors . It runs around the wonderful estuary of the river Somme in Picardy ( north of France ) which passes in Amiens . In the past it was a regular line . The second picture taken in 1969 shows my eldest son Thierry who was four years old looking at the diesel locomotive of this train .

Now the old steam locomotive that draws its wagons makes me think of my wife and me who have behind us 6 children and 10 grand children ( 11 at the end of this month and 12 in november ) . But at the contrary of the old locomotive we are wondering if it is us who draw or if it is them who push us !
