Automobile design .
I have just sold my car Citroën XM . The picture above shows it when I am going to drive it for the last time . It had been made in 1991 .
The picture below shows my new car Citroën C5 which comes in the drive way of my house . I am impressed by the evolution of the car design in ten years .
There is an art applied to the industry , in the conception and the look of machines , buildings etc… like for the clothes . We like or not but we have to adapt ourselves . The concept of " beauty " is evolutionary . Fortunatly . And probably you think of other examples .

i haven't seen a citroën for 15 maybe 20 years in canada now...a family on my street once owned one, i guess they don't import them very much now
you're right, there have been many design changes in cars in the last 10 years...the new one looks quite sharp
enjoy it
C'ést une belle voiture! Wishing you many safe driving hours in it!
MMMMmmmm ....... the 'smell' of a new car! Enjoy! As well as the 'art' of the automobile you have the pleasure to drive!
felicitations on your new vehicle!
...chantal was thinking that your steering wheel would be on the other side, though... ?
Very nice car, Michel. The design has really changed and has very nice lines!!
Fun thing is, I looked at your granddaughter. She has so many cute curls in her hair!
I love the car.. WWX.... world wide xanga... what a nice choice
I like the way they've made the lights. It fits into the design, is an integral part of it. (I hope they are not those sharp blue ones which need to be adjusted once in a while in order not to blind the other drivers on the road.)
So many things have changed in their design. Like my alarm.
Enjoiy your car. I'm sure you will. It's very very nice and you're completely right to be very proud if it.
Congratulations!
Like your new car!
Congratulations on your new car, Michel. Citroen makes great cars, and I wish they were more available in the States.
Great car!
A lovely shiney car Michel , Is it quick around the corners , you know how you Frenchmen drive ,but thats me I forget to look the right way when crossing the roads . Did you get my email about holidays !!1
Wow brand new car, it looks great

Handsome man and handsome car! Enjoy! @-}-}--
your new car looks nice! I hope that you like it a lot and enjoy it as much as it seems that you enjoyed your old one! you are right about the evolution of beauty. it's amazing, isn't it? ~
yes, that was in America. yes, I will try to get the sunset picture up as soon as I can so that you can really understand the moment, yes? ~
You say good bye to an old friend....and yet the new one seems nice. What is best is your entire photo. No longer do I need to wonder what the rest of you looks like.
You are so right about the concept of " beauty" being evolutionary in many things. I'm glad there are some things that have always been considered beautiful.
Michel...thankjs for asking how things went with the band... let's say that Mick Jagger would be proud of me!!
!!!Yes!!!!

Sleep well!
...enjoyed the beautiful photos. Thank you. I too, keep my cars for a time. Having a new car is a bittersweet experience. The new car is dashing as you, my friend. Strong, clean lines.

Je n'oublie pas le vin.
Je l'adore......like I do your site.
I like it... very sleek looking!!
My car is 13 years old. The style has changed so much since I got it. It was nice, now it's just old and big and shaped funny. My daughter calls it the great white whale.
You have a beautiful new car!
How about a ride about Paris?
i'm not a car person, and the only thing I easily notice about different cars is different colours. but get me going on the aestetics of computer hardware design, whole differnt story
Congratulations on the new car.
Magnifique voiture.
Trés comfortable.
Trés jolie.
Prestigeuse.
Symbol de la France .
Congrats, Michel.
Beauty is a concept very difficult to describe, and very subjective. It can vary from one person to another. I either like the way a new car looks, or I don't. It is challenging to say what exactly triggers my response, however. I do miss having chrome bumpers. One thing I am looking forward to in our move to France is driving on the left side of the car and right side of the road again! What a relief that will be!
And congratulations on your new Citroen c'est trés jolie. Enjoy!!
Michel!!!! Its awesome... lovely and grey! Would you like to trade? I have a red jeep.
Don't go to fast in that thing. LOL
Congratulations on your new car! Thank you for visiting my site!
We have those in England too. Lovely car, and definitely on my "wish list". Tom
C'est une belle voiture Michel! J'ai besoin d'acheter une nouvelle voiture, mais je n'ai pas assez d'argent! C'est la vie.
Congratulations on your new car
May you have many happy journeys in it!! It certainly looks very nice! Yes... art does change often... but sometimes you just can not beat a beautiful Greek sculpture
All the best, Zara.
I know absolutely nothing about European cars (if that's what it is). It does look great though! =)
Chic new car! Is it style or beauty that evolves? (I don't think the words are translating correctly!)
Chic nouveau voiture! Est-ce qu'il est mode ou beauté qui évolue? (Je ne pense pas que le mots traduise correctement!)
What stylish and consistent taste that you have in automobiles. I would love to drive that new car! It is really lovely; we rarely see the Citroen in Texas, though I have always admired them (but I love cars!).
The only French car that my family ever owned was a Renault. (Is Renault French? I might be mistaken). It was reliable and it took us from places to places. I wonder how a Renault looks like these days.
Like the new motor ----Safe wheels Ron
Looks a very nice car, I don't think I have seen any of these in Australia. Wish we still had a car but couldn't risk it with Matt being 80 and having had a stroke. Cheers Portia

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLALA!
Very nice car. Enjoy!
I saw one of this on the street yesterday and thought: "God, I´ve got to have time and let Michel know I just love this car too" Nice choice! enjoy!
Je suis (en?) retard pour donner mes feliciations mes vous les avez quand meme! Cettes voitures sont si belles.
ils n'y ont pas beaucoup en australie, mais je les adore. et la beaute des choses qui changent et evoluent ... tres vrai.
I'm not familiar with the name of the car you have, but it sure is a nice looking car! My most recent one is a 96, before that an 85....67.....66. Used clunkers.....
My uncle always drove an Citroen. They are not very common in the United States. They are beautiful cars!
Thank you for your comments , it seems to me that once a person drives a Citroen he always drives a citroen, I have started with a 2Cv club in blue, then a 2Cv special in red,at the same time i had an AK400(2Cv van)in red and white and a Mehari in orange, after that i changed the mehari for an AMI 8 break, that was all in england, i brought the red special and the ami 8 with me to France, i bought another Mehari this time in red with four places, i then moved up to an HY van, it was an ambulance from the pompiers in Molsheim near Strasbourg, this was a very good van and i went to England twice in it, then for "economic" reasons i sold the HY to a friend (he still drives it in England now) and i then bought an AX rallye in white, this car was good also until someone drove into the back of it !!
and now today i drive the Bamboo 2Cv , which is a model that Citroen only sold in england,( I bought it and a friend drove it here for me)
