  • My goodness!  This must have been a lot of work!

  • I wonder if you worked more on the garden or on the xanga site. ( You could also call it a garden).

    Ciao

  • Oh my goodness!! Michel, this must have been quite a 'labor of love' to get all this together and post it here.  You never cease to amaze me, my friend.  You have been very busy this year on your Xanga site and we, your readers, are quite glad you were.  There are many of us who look forward to your latest posting and the wisdom you share with us by finding beauty and lessons of life in simple things.

I most remember a posting this past year when you were burning brush and leaves in your yard and you mentioned leaving it to do other things.  Then, when you returned it was only smoking and you had to stay with it and tend to it in order to keep it burning.  Then, you told us about it being like a relationship... like love.  You cannot just leave it alone to burn, it must be tended to as that fire for it to keep burning brightly and hot.

I hope you will continue to post and sharing your photos of your yard and garden too.  We all really enjoy these!!!

have a great day my friend!

                                                 Deb

  • Whew!  That was a lot of work!  Thanks!

  • My apologies for the 4 readers above. When they were reading , the work was not totaly ended ( I had submitted for trial ) . It is now . Thank you to them for their indulgence .

    Michel

  • What a wonderful way to display your Timeline of Xanga...

  • I feel as I've been let into a secret Church. You are an incredible man, Michel. I will maybe be touring the Eiffel Tower in May....with Monsieur Carlo!!!!!

  • Soon, I'll have my own chronicles.

  • ...Michel, what an amazing gift!!! A chronicle of your posts. I delight in your insight and humor. Only read partially through the year.  I shall return many, many times. I could paint pictures from your words.
...thank you for this gift, it is priceless and warms my soul.  MuSe

  • Quite a chronicle, and I thank you very much for this superb guide to your blogs!

  • What I so appreciate about this wonderful blog, Michel, is the French lesson. I will be coping this for future study. Thanks, Friend.

  • Thank you for this excellent compilation... now I have loads of great reading material

  • Wow, its like looking at a history of your life at Xanga, and it bought back so many memories about the things you have written about. I don't know why someone didnt think of it before.

  • What an amazing compilation of your time here. Thank you.

  • C'est merveilleux. Je peux maintenant sauver(économiser) ce poste pour atteindre les autres. Merci. Je ne vous ai jamais montré mes poules.

  • Yuppie... I found a journal site written in French .  I need a daily dose of French... Happy writing.

  • I want to thank you for your warm welcome of my sisters.  I'm sure they'll appreciate it.  I'll be sure to tell her about your site, seeing that you write in both french and english (she's a french and english teacher).  I was reading a couple of your blogs and the only regret I have is that I didn't find your site earlier. =)

  • Well that was a read. Were we supposed to click on something that we fancied seeing. I liked Sept 8th my wedding anniversary. You are lucky to know what you have posted, once mine goes round the corner I forget. Cheers Portia

  • A year already here... it feels like a great time among friends. Enjoyed reading the articles again.

    Amitié, Bianca

  • Xanga is like the magic beanstalk it just keeps on growing and growing.   Ron

  • Oh this makes me smile..... Wonderful job with the links, and I'll be reading here for awhile!!

  • J'aime beaucoup les histoires des enfants...vraiment les enfants voient le monde avec les yeux differentes.

  • Michel! Thank you for leaving this library of journals for us to read. It is much easier to go back when you can just look through the subjects and know what you are going back to! Thank you! ~

  • I had to come back to wish you more happiness... you always make me smile!! Merci!

  • Ma qualité !  Quel beaucoup de travail vous avez effectué !  C'est un crédit à vous.  Vous avez couvert un tel choix de sujets...  Il est vraiment à votre crédit - merci du partage tout ceci avec nous !

    Yours respectfully,
    Zara Davinia.

  • From a fellow European - thanks for such an interesting journal.  Being a typical Englishman I don't speak French well.  But I love your country and in May am going walking in the Suisse Normande.  Tom

  • Bonjour Michel...
Alas, no I can not speak French - I'd like to, it's a beautiful language. My comment was in French because I used a translator to put what I wanted into French. I am a great believer of the saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" & I couldn't think of any way to show my respect to you & your work, other than to speak it in your own tongue.
    All the best,
    ZaraD.

  • wow!!!

AND YOU STILL HAD TIME TO MAKE LOADS OF FRIENDS HERE AT XANGA!!!

Mes compliments (I mean.... ah well, you know!!!)

  • I can't wait for the next post that you choose to send our way.

  • Incrediable post I so enjoy your site. Jass

  • You have certainly put a lot of work into this.
