New borns' behaviour/ then the first steps of the social life.

   Comportement de nouveaux –nés .

New borns’behaviour

English version below the pictures

 Raphael on the left and Yris on the right;Raphaël à gauche et Yris à droite;

We got recently a collection of photos of the twins at the maternity . You remember that  those twins, Raphael and Yris, are born on the 24th of August 2012 . The photos have been sent to us by the parents, our son Jean-Baptiste and his wife Melody ..

On those pictures  the twins are a few days old .

Some of them caught our attention .

.

This first picture makes us think of this fusional state as they were in the womb of their mother. They live together in a total confident  abandon

----------

On the three pictures above , Yris, the girl, is on the right ( dark hair ) and Raphael on the left ( blond hair ). In following the photos we can see Yris who is touching Raphael's arm in looking at him. She is discovering another being

But Raphael moves his arm .

And ( third photo ) Yris is very surprised and she looks like excited  . Her physiognomy is changin . We do not know if she is going to smile or to cry. But what is sure is she starts the experience of life and his mind's potential is awaking and will go increasing. (And also her affective wealth ). Acting and thinking are narrowly linked.

We are sometimes surprised by all what may be said by the photos. Do not you find that those few photos are interesting to observe. Probably other interpretations may be made and the one above is an hypothesis among others.

______________________________

.....then the first steps of their social life

And a few time later, back home, the twins are discovering the close surrounding of their crib, a kind of large basket. The boy Raphaël  looks at her mother's face bended on them and the girl Yris (dark hair) looks at the photographer. In those first times of life, those steps are important for their knowledge of the world. They learn their first structuration of  the social life.

And , here , one starts to be spoiled by the grand mother!!!

And now they are going to grow quietly and wisely,

and this is on those pictures I can wish to my American friends a happy Thanksgiving.( I forgot the Canadian day in October )

I won't even interpret but just enjoy the photos. I guess it's one of those things that you have to be there to see what happened. We have a three week old and just love the faces he is making.

When I was born, I was a twin too. So I can imagine what that must have been to have when you normally deal with one baby, but two in this case. The photos are so cute,

These are wonderful photographs of the twins! Girls are earlier in developing the awareness of social interaction while boys are just into action! They are very beautiful and I can't wait to see as they become more and more awre of the world! It is an exciting time in life!!

They are adorable. I can't imagine having twins, although my brother and his wife had twin boys about 30 years ago. They were so tiny, and now they are both about 6 and 1/2 " tall!

I love seeing these photos of these two beautiful angels and love seeing her reaching out to explore her world, even though she does not know that she is doing that yet.

I am wondering if she recognizes him as who she shared the womb with and is reaching out to touch again due to the recognition.

I think her facial reaction also shows more emotional than he is.

They are so beautiful Michel.

The stronger is detaching sooner and trying to be independant, the smaller feminine Yris is looking to the strenght and bond they have wanting to be close.

Such beautiful kids and family, they will both be loved loads.

You are going to laugh at me but this is the first time I've realized they aren't both boys. Have you ever said the twins were one of each? They are so sweet and I love your take on what these pictures show.

Were they in the womb in the same position? It would be interesting to know for sure.I have heard of twins preferring to lay at the side of the sibling that they were in the womb-same position and everything.Just an interesting thought!
They are beautiful and congratulations! :coolman: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

You do have to wonder what they are thinking. One thing is sure, twins go through life more highly attuned to each other than most people ever are.
